Been looking at the differences between the Palladia door and the Apeer door ,and decided to fit palladia doors and side lights, its a nice solid door and very heavy to lift on its own, the door itself looks very nice and elegant but like everything it has problems, one being its a monocoque door which basically means it is hollow inside which will have a certain degree of heat loss like everything else that is hollow, compared to the Apeer Door it is filled with a very dense foam and metal grid for strength and has a very high u value compared to Palladia doors, I now supply and fit both Apeer and palladia doors and cover a wide area, if you would like to ask any questions i would be glad to help.

An old thread I know, but can anyone shed light on the quality of a Senator Windows composite door versus a Palladio composite door? Are they broadly the same or is one superior to the other? Thanks

I would be interested in opening this thread again. There is the issue of heat insulation from materials/seals and the quality of the locking system. I am not keen on the door handle that is seen on many but it is apparantly a feature of a better locking system.
