Yes, this is true and RTÉ have never recovered, they should have given him TLLS. But how to milk it, there are people that don't know him, time has moved on.

Yep the TLLS guests always have something to promote, never there just for a chat and thats what turns me off watching it.

Tommy Tiernans guests are just there to chat not self promotion.

So after the fallout from the RTÉ scandal and much talk of extra-curricular work for RTÉ "stars", RTÉ allows Lottie to promote her podcast on their main entertainment programme, a podcast this is not available on RTÉ or supported by RTÉ.

I understand that her father died 15 years ago and as such it is an anniversary and I mean no ill will towards Lottie and her family at this time.

They really are scraping the barrel now ..lottie will do anything to promote herself..when her podcast started a few weeks back ,obviously she needed a,good story to get the gullible public to listen in to her shenanigans..so news comes out from her that her drink was spiked and within minutes she was,practically in a coma,and barely Able to walk out the door and was vulnerable to anyone's bad intentions..only for her great friends came along??are we supposed to think that she was going home on her own?? And secondly it takes a lot more than minutes to render someone totally out of it ...and here is the kicker ..never did she mention it to all the media ,print or other wise and social media that it was nearly 16 years ago it happened, but no. She said that the bad experience that's if it did happen wasn't worth saying anything about it ,only as a last resort, to jump start what ever career she has !! Attention seeker. That's all she is and also a few more..like her Garrighy and company ..at least her father had some journalist skills .and empathy .daughter hasn't 1 grain of any skills bar verbal diahorrea ,she unleashes on to the poor public

Yeah he was no saint alright and should maybe be left to Rest In Peace but no Lottie is gonna be talking about what a great 'DOD' he was - sad in many ways?
