325kwh for March on a 4kwp system. 94kwh better than March 2024. Quite the difference a year can make!

4kwp South East facing PV System. 5.3kwh Weco battery. South Dublin City.

441kWhs this month. First March with the panels so I’ve nothing to compare it to but it seems really good to me. Much higher than what PVIGS predicted.

    4.45kwp s/se

    7.2kw S facing Louth/Meath border. Generated 628kwh, exported 378kwh, imported 1302kwh ( 1252kwh EV Rate, 50kwh Day Rate - all electric house, heat pump & 2 x EV)

    7.79kWp South facing, West Waterford.

    All electric bungalow.

Monthly bill has come to €19.28. Had it not been for solar the bill would have been €125.

    €87 worth of power exported.

What is eye opening from my perspective was how poor March 2024 was. I exported just 287kWh compared to 435kWh this year.

Likewise a very solid March. 6.5Kwp split East/West (exactly) in South Dublin city.

    image.png

Highest day in March ever (yesterday) with 24.5Kwh. Pretty happy with March as it came in at 115% of PVGIS.

Tomorrow (Tues) and Wed this week looking like good candidates to beat that 24.5Kwh for me, though my all time high for an April day is 30.8Kwh - but yeah, things rocking well now on the E/W split. April should be off to a good start.

Shed (2.3Kwh south facing) chipped in with another 165Kwh, so 565Kwh in total for March. That's 8.8Kwp in total.

    Folks - a suggestion:
The google sheets spreadsheet shows a lot of inactive folks - those who have not updated anything for more than a year.
Would a clean up be a good idea - rather than having a lot of blank spaces on that spreadsheet?

2024 shows 70 rows, but only 22 have updated for any of the months.

2025 shows 72 rows, but only 13 have updated for any of the months.

My 3rd and by far best March yet, 676kWh from a 9kWp E/W split compared to 539kWh in March '24 and 557kWh in March '23.

    Coastal Northeast.

824 kWh generated for march 2025.

    9.9kwp South/west Galway

As deravarra said it's been mostly abandoned. It could do with a clean up by removing posters that don't contribute to it anymore.

if we could get a consensus, I can do a bit of housekeeping on this… just for 2024 and 2025

606.86 Limerick S facing, 6kw system, topped out at 37.2 on 19/03…up from 509.46 last year in March

    491kW/h from 6.45kWp in Wicklow, 150% of Jan+Feb combined.

only installed midway through March last year so I don't have a direct comparison, but it was a fairly sunny month with a lot of very productive days.

    I'm only a blow-in so my opinion doesn't mean much. You'd have to ask bullit_dodger I suppose.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,950 ✭✭✭deravarra

he hasnt posted his readings since November 2023. I would say he isnt too bothered either way. The sheet should be for the use of those active folks.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,662 ✭✭✭bullit_dodger

I'm guilty here myself of not updating it recently. Must do that now. I'd say there are others in the same boat as me. Let's make an effort peeps to update with any missing data you might have, and what I suggest is that we create a new sheet (I can do it) which is inactive users, and then move the orphaned records over there.

Better than doing an outright delete on the rows, as we'd still have the data should anyone want to come back.

I actually went back recently and rechecked my March 2022 and it was correct. It was a spectacular second half of the month that year. You were possibly questioning it too.

A good month, not as good as '22.

    Screenshot_20250401-191932.png

2025 has 1.58 x kWp of the previous years. Not a direct comparison anymore

The buy sell mix is excellent for so early in the year

    Screenshot_20250401-192043.png

On real money I am on the wrong plan

    Screenshot_20250401-191816.png

The extra panels and the car charging ~117kWh, really swing this to Pinergy

    🌞7.225 kWp, azimuth 136°, slope 24°, 5kW, 🛢️10.9kWh, Roscommon

560 kWh March 2025 (6.1kWp South facing Cork)

Not bad March '23 was only 490kWh so a big improvement.

    April starting off good.

555 kWh for me for March. 6.96kWh system facing SSE.

over 100kWh already for April and we're only 3 days in.

This is going to be my first spring/summer with a system. solis inverter fan going mad all day with the amount of power being generated.
