160 miles is a hell of a long way for UHF, are you in Wales?

Oops it's 90 odd miles sorry!

I was looking at the distance to the Isle of Man for Manx Radio.

    Yes - Pembrokeshire on a hill !

It's possible that in lift conditions your unwanted signal is nearly as strong, or as strong, as your wanted one.

Assuming you already have an aerial as big as practicable, as high as possible, and correctly aligned, there's not much more you can do to get more wanted signal - a phased array maybe?

VPN and RTE Player 😁 (hard enough to get it to work right from over here!)

I’m sure there are other sites down? But if the wider community has no power, it may not be being reported.

There are no notices on the 2rn site about outages due to the weather. The BBC site has a transmitter checker. I used a Newry postcode to search for Camlough faults.

Thanks for the comments about Mt Leinster signals — I have a feeling it's the signals from Carmel on the same frequencies that are causing the problems.

No lift conditions these last few days and signals rock solid .

Is this work happening today instead?

I turned on the TV today & got no signal from RTÉ2 on Saorview.

I didn't have any outages from Three Rock yesterday.

I've have another update about receiving the Saorview channels from Three Rock this evening.

Ch.30 is giving me 41% Signal Intensity & 10% Signal Quality. Ch.33 has given me the same data.

It was raining in Dublin yesterday morning. I'm not sure if that work at Three Rock was delayed until earlier today.

Another update here. I got my Saorview channels back now.

I had to switch off my Saorview box to get the signal back again.
