House making all types of noises here, not far from Knock Airport. Some of the gust are genuinely scary, never heard anything like it - think I've got as much sleep as I'm getting for tonight! Power just gone out 😬

ok nothing there in the last 45 min's in the North East:

starting again this moment with some fairly heavy gusts.

It's just suddenly got violent since my last post . This isn't even the peak- unless it has started a bit earlier?

Yeah Im in Dun Laoghaire and I'm feeling the shimmy through my foot-thick walled block and stone house.

The gusts are short but very severe, almost like a whip sound.

Gotta say, I'm genuinely quite concerned at the ability of rescue and repair crews to deal with so much likely damage over basically the entire country. I think inland areas may unprecedented damage compared to what our usual Atlantic Lows bring in.

Micheál Martin could have one doozy of a first full day of his second term.

Meath west Meath border here, deep roar of wind all the time and then a huge shaking , windows and doors she then goes low for 2 minutes thr deep glutaral roar again. 3 hours to go to red here. I think this is the big one isn’t it? The one most weather model watchers thought “Jesus imagine that hit Ireland full on.”I think that’s tonight for most of us a once on b a lifetime event hopefully

Went out to tape up the letterbox as it was flapping like mad and have never experienced a wind like it in Galway. Not sure how our power hasn't gone yet
