I was issued with a warning by Jim2007 for being uncivil for this post in B&I&P:

The OP asked a generalised question while trying to apply it to their specific circumstances. My reply explained why they shouldn't do that, and what their next steps should be. I don't understand how this post was considered uncivil in any way, shape, or form, and I request that the warning be removed from my record

Below is the PM exchange with the mod in relation to the warning.

You are being warned for the following post: uncivil

Hi @Jim2007, can you explain what I'm being warned for here? I wasn't aggressive or hostile, I didn't use any abusive language, and I provided the same advice as you did in your post on the discussion. I don't see anything in my post that merits a warning

I did not say you were being aggressive or hostile, but on civil.

Those were examples of things that I would consider to be uncivil. If I wasn't any of those things, in what way was my post uncivil?

    Hello?

If you do not accept the warning appeal it to Beasty.
