There are some great games. There are also a bunch of free games with PS+, enough to get you started. But here a re few worth buying.

Action / Horror: The Resident Evil (4, 7, 8) games are amazing.

Relaxing: Puzzling Pieces is a cool 3D jigsaw.

Space Adventure: No Mans Sky is amazing. Flying that space ship is the coolest thing in VR.

    For anyone with PC adapter.

    Half-Life 2

    Half-Life 2 Episode 1

    Half-Life 2 Episode 2

All free on Steam now. All have free official Steam VR mods.

Black Mesa is available also for 5 euro (usually 20 euro). Just bought myself. Must get the VR mod set up. Im mentioning it because you need all the Half-Life 2 game files in my last post to run it. Its an unofficial mod but plenty good YouTube videos available and looks well worth the setup.

EDIT: Just got this running. Looks excellent. After you have Black Mesa installed, download and extract the BlackMesaSourceVR archive (google drive link in video description) into a directory on PC, skip to 3:08 in this video and take it from there. It already has mod organizer included. Looks much better than the original Half-Life VR mod and runs great.

I would rather they delayed and released a proper game instead of releasing a shambles and using customers as beta testers.

Finally picked up the VR2 pc adapter. Not a single shop selling a display port cable though...

So.... I see it's down to 389.99 now. I have a voucher for 80 quid. So would be 310.

I don't have a gaming PC or PC/laptop with DisplayPort so this would exclusively be for PSVR 2 gaming.

310 euro question: is it worth it?. I have PlayStation plus ultimate (or whatever it's called) so I know that comes with a regular VR game but, honestly, is it a great product or is it a great product that is being treated as a gimmick and soon to be abandoned?

Edit: Looks like Sony have reduced production/development. Read about that earlier but forgot. Is it effectively dead so?

Definitely not dead and has been worth the 650 I paid on release so would snap it up at €310. There are some amazing looking games coming over the next few months.

It's not dead, the price cuts are helping to get more units out there and the free games on ps+ do offer a great starter pack.

They have also been showing off a new update. Hand tracking, so you don't need the controller the camera sees your own hands and renders them in game as controllers. Will make things like pressing buttons or picking stuff up way cooler.

Well guess no Alyx for me yet. Have everything but just can't get my Sense controllers to discover on the PC. They just don't show up.

So have determined it's my bluetooth adapter which is the issue. A TP-Link TX20E. Looks like it works but nothing shows up when searching. Can see the controllers immediately on my S10 when searching so tried a hape of troubleshooting and ended up buying an Asus USB-BT500, which seems to be the best option out of all of them at the moment. Next week then…

    Arcade Paradise VR.

    Discounted nostalgia for 80s kids.

    Down from 19.99 to 10.99.

    2 year anniversary Saturday past.

Was there anything from Sony for it?

Price dropping to 450 from next month.

Trial for Metro awakening is on ps+. Be warned it's 30 mins only and a good chunk is slow intro. But it is discounted to €28 too.

I'm really enjoying it so far. About 2 hours in. Actually feels like a real game.
