Just finished season 1 and thought it was great.

Although I would have liked to see her get killed while running from essentially just below marine standard security to add some realism to it(not a huge thing as it is a TV show).

Can't Wait to start season 2 as binged S1 over 2 days.

It only gets better and more brutal too at times the things that happen. Such a great show.

What an absolutely fantastic episode of television that was!

Ep 5, such a sudden change from the no nonsense, stick the mission person.

Surely she will be in a major world of trouble, that mission was never supposed to be on the table and now a ton of people are dead including law enforcement.

Set up nicely now for next week season finale and I don't think everyone is going to survive it.

Really enjoying the show but it feels seriously forced to push Cruz into another love arc.

Nicole Kidman's accent is slipping quite a bit in this season.

All in all though solid TV.

I think he's enjoying interrupting them… so he can do it and not do it.

That one must have done some amount of training!

Now that was one hell of a season finale.

The battle scenes were amazing better than you would get in a $100m summer blockbuster at the cinema.

Really hope this gets renewed for a 3rd season and if it doesn't that will work as a series finale for me.

Yep totally agree, such a brilliant finale and works as a series finale too. Hopefully if it gets renewed there is another Lioness but the previous 2 show up too

I liked the season but preferred the first one. Season one felt more grounded. I expected to see Rambo turn up in the last battle, the enemy just had the aim of stormtroopers.

Yes it was a bit ridiculous that 100 plus soldiers could only manage a couple of wounding shots. I thought they might kill off a couple of the lesser characters, though I knew they weren't killing Joe. Still it was definitely an enjoyable watch overall, though I can't really buy Nicole Kidman in her role. Not sure why, but I just don't find her believable as the ice cold, heartless CIA type much as she tries.

The same here The first season was much better. The season finale was a mess. Did not think it was great at all. Very hard to know who was shooting who.

I think tooo many countries involved in second season. Will still watch the next one.

Hard to do a great battle on TV even if you have a budget as Game of Thrones showed numerous times.

Thought the escape from the compound at the end of season one was shot much better than the battle in season two finale.

Yes I agree. Who were they even supposed to be fighting? They totally underestimated them.

    Yes indeed.

I agree it was much better.

Enjoyed the season but it was a huge step down on the first and that finale, while entertaining, I thought was pretty bad.

I mean someone makes a point of talking about how the enemy aren't just insurgents, but actual trained soldiers…..and then 10 minutes later it's like a mass horde of stormtroopers who couldn't hit a barn door from 100 yards.

Someone also made the very obvious pointed statement previously that operators are replaceable, but Joe is not. Based on that I totally expected one or two of them to be killed off, but nope, just throw a few token wounds in at the very end.

Taylor Sheridan injecting himself into the action as the most elite warrior of all-time was also a bit grating, combined with the latest episode of Yellowstone he seems to have quite a massive ego.

I don't know why his shows tend to be like this but they start off as compelling, grounded and credible drama and then start sliding into complete far-fetched brainless entertainment fantasy.

Still enjoyed it and would watch a S3 but not a shade on the first season.

they had Rambo saving the day really, Taylor Sheridan on over watch as the hero

I’m a bleeding heart liberal, but the sight of Zoe Saldana strapping on her sidearm, picking up an AK47 and saying “wheels up”, gets me into quite a state!

I thought the second season was great! A step up from season 1, which was enjoyable.
