Got Netflix working with Turkish giftcards tonight following a few guides listed in this thread.

1. Setup a new Irish account last month. Added payment method of Revolut vitual card. Added a second virtual card as a backup payment method. Both are for exlcusive use of Netflix so if they get canned no hassle.
2. Paid in full for 1 month Premium @ €20.99.
3. Immediately cancelled the sub, but can continue watching for 1 month until current sub expired (which is today).
4. Purchased 1x ₺900 Turkish Netflix gift card from Turgame for ~€26 (3 months premium @ ₺299/month)
5. TIP - buy a single gift card so you dont have to enter mutliples - it will only cost a few cent more.
6. Opened Brave browser and cleared all history & data (cookies etc).
7. Restarted Brave browser & switched to Private Browsing mode
8. Logged into Netflix (no VPN)
9. Turn on Turkey VPN (Success with ProtonVPN)
10. Go to https://www.netflix.com/tr-en/redeem
11. Enter Giftcard code.
12. Go through signup process and select plan.
13. IMPORTANT - When asked to add a backup payment method - choose SKIP THIS PART. You should already have a payment method setup back in 1.
14. After this, you can then select your plan and see your balance left. Netflix will auto deduct this.

Is working ok and does not appear to be geo-locked. If it does, all I need to do is watch in Turkey via VPN for one month, then geo-lock will be removed after end of month.

Initially I used NordVPN and Edge browser. Kept getting error message that code was not valid.

Tried switching VPN servers and restarting browsers. After a few more attempts started getting Captcha test challenges (eg choose pictures of a crosswalk, bicycle etc).

Eventually got it working as per my above.

If your code is not working, its most likely a VPN issue (according to most reports Ive read on Reddit).

Setting up new account and payments all done on PC. Not aware of any setup method using other devices - might work but I cant offer any advice. Most of what I have posted is in the 1st post of this thread.

Once all is up an running can watch on any device (TV app, streaming device app, phone app, browser etc).

Current Turkish Netflix Pricing based on todays exchange rate (€1 = ₺36.1065)

Yes - In my case, my premium is costing me nearly €26 for 3 months total or €8.66/m

Be aware, if my account got nuked today, then I run the risk of losing €26. Some people may prefer to load up month by month instead - but this comes with more hassle of purchasing and loading up gift cards each month.

You need to be comfortable with the level of risk you are prepared to take (i.e. how much you are prepared to lose if account gets nuked) versus convenience.

No - thats a common enough experience (again just going by reports on Reddit and some on here). Works for some (like you), not for others (like me). I just posted my experience.

I only keep my Turkish Netflix going for family members

Stremio devs implemented a workaround over the weekend. Likely to be axed at some point but still going strong for now. Worth looking at others to have a backup.

As AllDebrid is French based, logical to not pick that.

AllDebrid removing some 3rd party apps support already actually. My Stremio setup is not working currently.

Been using Turkish giftcards for months now but managed to add my Revolut card and it took the payment no problem. I then made the mistake of adding a giftcard on top. Now my account has been cancelled and no refund due for either the card payment or giftcard! My own fault for being greedy I suppose!

Anyone know if I can buy a new giftcard and add that to my existing account or do I have to make a brand new account altogether?

My life as a Netflix immigrant has resumed. A few years in Turkey until the start of this year and the blocks then, followed by a move to India that worked fine for 10 months or so until last month. Then payments just continuously failed.

This morning due to incessant badgering from the Mrs who isn't satisfied with Stremio not having everything she wants instantly…

I mean god forbid there's a 24hr wait for it to appear on torrents! Anyway, opened a new Netflix account this morning via Colombia, top package is €10 per month. Accepted Revolut and no phone verification requested.

I signed up via Windscribe set to Colombia, but there doesn't appear to be any 30day geolock as my DNS director only has Brazilian DNS available but Netflix is working, also my son is in Austria, with no VPN and it's working fine for him there.
