YouTube Premium thread SEE OP

My next renewal is the 4th Dec so might get a the rest of the year till i move back to the EIRE

I've had an Argentine proxy enabled for YouTube.com for probably 2 months now, but I also just got the email saying the game is up after 4 years, so it's purely down to the country of the VISA/Mastercard used to pay and nothing to do with IP addresses. They seem to be cracking down in waves.

It seems hit and miss what happens but might not be all over yet. Around a year ago (whenever the law in India changed)I got similar message and spent most of a weekend trying to update everything/find virtual card/ look for vouchers all to no avail and was ready to give up but when the time came the money was taken from the original card (Revolut if it matters). Still going fine after several years, might be an issue when the card expires. I have 2 payment profiles on my account one for Ireland and one for India open to correction on the exact term)- I can't remember how I set up the profiles but it was a long time ago.

Got the email this morning, Ghana Sub for past 6 months!! Have a pain in me hole with VPNs and trying multiple VPNs and countries. Tried Poland and was setup without a hitch in a matter of mins. €5.95 for individual I’m happy out although, €1.59 from Ghana was nice I’ve benefited from cheap YT premium for the past number of years so I can swallow €5.95.

Does it work if I just add a Polish account to my Irish Revolut?

Has there been any talk of Youtube/Google closing accounts which have "moved" from one country to another???

Kinda wary of "moving" country, don't want to lose my Google account with my emails and photos etc. I suppose I can use a spare account I've had since college days but I've to move all my playlists over (not the end of the world, I know).

That time we got the email from India was about the payment method and how it was processed. It wasn't an email saying you've lost YouTube, as your payment method didn't match the country.
