Yes great. Best qualifying in a long time. Piastri at last getting what he deserves and showing his true colours. Delighted for him.

Really? I find her so dry and boring. Thankfully I di not have to lustre ir watch her to much. Much prefer Danica. At least she has style and is fun and not dull.

What is the point if the PR people with the drivers holding there phones? The one with Max seemed to be constantly texting and had no interest in what he was saying or the reporter either. Sometimes they look like they are recording the conversation.

    Peace and long life.

You favouring trite soundbites from Danica over astute technical analysis from Bernie Collins is not the least bit surprising.

Danica is an absolute bore, dislike her sharp voice and rigid/cardboard personality - not that it really matters when it comes to analysis but her dress sense is atrocious also.

Bernie is very pleasant and really knows her stuff. A much warmer and pleasant personality.

I won’t hear any Bernie Collins slander, she’s been a great addition. Has anyone read her book actually?

I like Danica, she can be fun at times.

Bernie with her excel sheet shtick is getting a bit cringe, even though I like her insider knowledge.

recordings for analysis later, drivers are very groomed these days, all conversations are recorded to be discussed with press advisors after the fact

danica is as thick as fcuk

I have and to be honest, it's aimed at the new fans who wouldn't tune into Fridays all that often so I'm not the target.

    This too shall pass.

And also to make sure that it driver is quoted as saying X that the team can prove they didn't (if that scenario were to arise)

They are also told before the day starts what to say, stay clear of etc

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 31,011 ✭✭✭✭Wanderer78

they are of course, but some of that advice would come from previously recorded interviews, which would have been analyzed after the fact

Danica is without doubt the worst pundit of them all, and that's saying something. It's pretty clear she has no knowledge of F1 itself with some of the banality she comes out with. She should stick to discussing lizard people and the NWO lol

I think it was FP2 where Danica was commentating with Crofty and he said "Take us through a lap" as Hamilton was starting a lap and she said nothing, you could nearly hear the panic in the silence. She's awful

Good evening all. I think I will have some nice cold cider watching the race.

Danica needs to go back to the gym honestly, she's a bad fit for this.

Let's get it on. Wonder will my boi Oscar sandbag and not really bother if he doesn't want to be no.2 to Lando.

I wonder if the Mercs can sort out their complete lack of compliance when it comes to using Kerbs. If they dont I think we will see another Merc into a wall today

Yep, think it was something along the lines of "here we are accelerating down the main straightbefore braking for turn 1 awkward pause here's the fast corner section"

Before the other pundits realised she was drowning and dived in to discuss something else.

You can see the respect Bernie has on the grid walk from people. They don't have the usual "time to waffle" faces on them

This is definitely Ferrari's to lose, isn't it?

Max and Lando to crash into each other on first lap?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,092 ✭✭✭✭ctrl-alt-delete

Perez starting 18th at his home GP coming up to the day of the dead is ominous for his Redbull seat.

Forgot P2 is on the dirty side.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,092 ✭✭✭✭ctrl-alt-delete

    Haha,

Certainly not my first time, just think Charles will have a good start.

McClaren might look after the tyres better, but they have one car up there which isn't ideal for strategy.

Max can wrangle the car to P2 over one lap, but surely even he won't turn it into a racecar today.
