    No savings on the Enyaq, it’s a typo. Skoda seem determined not to sell EV’s in Ireland. I queried the “offer” with customer service and got the response below;

Yeah - Maths didn't work out. Not great value compared to ID4 tbh.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,953 ✭✭✭joe1303l

Yes, they seem to have reduced the range to a choice of just 2 models and even the cheapest one kicks of with a list price of €52,500. Spec has improved on them but I just can’t see them selling without a significant discount.

Anyone experience a similar issue in an Enyaq 60. Has happened a few times in the past but today happened about 7 to 10 times. Say as I'm approaching a roundabout there would be lack of power as you accelerate away momentarily or going over speed bumps I'd slow but as I go to accelerate again I'd experience lack of power again for a second or so i.e depress the accelerator and no real respsonse but only lasts a second or less. Hoping it's not the motor or something big. Thanks

I wonder if they will get the Elroq to fit the gap previously occupied by the Enyaq 60?????.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,953 ✭✭✭joe1303l

I would think thats the plan. Base model Enyaq (85+) now comes with way more standard kit than the previous 60 or 80. Downside is it makes it’s ID4 sister look way cheaper.

I see a few enyaqs with high mileage coming up for sale at more competitive prices . Other than battery SOH is there anything else I should look out for?

Hi. Will a Skoda Superb 2022 spare wheel fit a Skoda Enyaq 2021 ?

    Thanks

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,953 ✭✭✭joe1303l

    It should fit as the Bore and PCD dimensions are the same but you may have an issue with the “Offset” to clear the brakes. Official OEM spare for an ID.4 has an offset of 56mm which is quite unusual. Should be the same for an Enyaq. Details below;

You'll need to make the sure the spare wheel is has enough clearance for the 340mm brake rotor and caliper. 17" should fit.

Thanks. It's an 18" wheel so hopefully. Will try it over next few days. Cheers.

I think the pared down enyaq models are because a facelift is coming in 2025 which will take its cue from the Elroq. They have bumped up the spec of the base model considerably adding Neptune 20" wheels (cost me about 800 as an extra last year), keyless entry and start (used to be just keyless start) power tailgate, virtual pedal, Heated front seats and steering wheel, power adjustable+memory driver seat, 'Suite' Leather interior, Wireless charging, Privacy rear glass, Chrome trim on the widow surrounds and roof rails. Most importantly, only the 77kwh battery is available and a more efficient electric motor

Spec has been bumped up in an attempt to avoid cutting prices to match competitors like the ID.4 and others. Hasn’t worked as Enyaq sales have tanked in the last 12 months.

It is also an attempt to move the Enyaq upmarket to create space for the Elroq. Anyone wanting an Enyaq 60 are probably expected to go with an Elroq instead.

I would still expect to see 2 battery options for the facelifted Enyaq.

Shame they didn't throw in the heat pump. I've got one in mine and its really good

€4000 Cashback offer for Black Friday. Still probably overpriced compared to some rival brands.

    The key words "on selected".

I'd say it will be a let down only for the 0% finance offer.

Likely to be only available on cars in stock but there are quite a few 85’s sitting in Dealers.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,601 ✭✭✭fafy

about 70 Enyaks, including some Coupes, in the sale, a few 60’s under 30k but with huge mileage >125k, but could be something in there for someone

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,953 ✭✭✭joe1303l

Not seeing huge value there, cheapest one with the larger battery is a 2022 80 for €35K. Winter range is quite restrictive on a 60.

The new facelift looks great, it will be interesting to see prices.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,953 ✭✭✭joe1303l

No doubt pricing will be even more overpriced than the current version.

Facelift Front end looks much better but it’s not unlike some current Korean offerings.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,429 ✭✭✭DaveyDave

I think the front is horrendous! I don't like the slim headlight, full width bar styling some cars are going with, the Kona is another one that has it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,953 ✭✭✭joe1303l

It’s a pretty lazy update, looks like it’s just the front bumper, bonnet, grille and headlights.

I got a chance to look at the Enyaq

    And Enyaq Coupe

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 57 ✭✭john457

I like the front of it, but the front design doesn’t gel with the back at all. Then the side of it looks out of place. And the awkward overall shape.

Thankfully the horrific plastic non illuminated “grill” is gone. It’s an improvement but it still is a mess. It is one of the best electric cars out there. Interior, drivetrain wise, practicality. But it still looks a bit off.

Look how beautiful a sportline, previous gen, Kodiaq looks. It should have those great design cues, overall shape and lines. But it just looks frumpy. I really like the car for the other reasons.

I just wish it looked better.

Škoda Ireland Launches Updated Enyaq with Extended Range, New Tech, and 0% Finance Offer

    • New Škoda Enyaq and Enyaq Coupé feature Modern Solid design, enhanced range, and improved aerodynamics.
    • Two battery sizes and three powertrain options, including bidirectional home charging capability.
    • Strong Irish supply for 2025; Enyaq 60 from €43,060 and Enyaq 85 with 575 km range from €45,250.
    • Enyaq 0% finance available for a limited time

Dublin, 24 April 2025 – Following the successful launch of the all-electric Škoda Elroq, Škoda Ireland is advancing its electrification strategy with the introduction of the new Enyaq – the larger sibling to the recently launched Elroq.

The refreshed Škoda Enyaq and Škoda Enyaq Coupé are further enhanced with the brand’s striking new Modern Solid design languag. Updates include an extended driving range, improved aerodynamics, greater use of sustainable materials, and an expanded list of standard equipment. Enhanced digital capabilities and the latest in driver assistance technologies also feature prominently.

The new Enyaq family offers two battery sizes and three powertrain options. Customers can choose from the rear-wheel drive Enyaq 60 with 430 kilometres of driving range, or the Enyaq 85 with an extended range of up to 575 kilometres. The Enyaq 85x features all-wheel drive with dual motors  for added traction in all conditions. A key innovation is the introduction of bidirectional charging, enabling Enyaq models to act as supplementary energy storage units for homes.

Due to strong demand across continental Europe and the UK, Enyaq availability was limited in Ireland throughout 2024. However, Škoda Ireland is pleased to confirm significantly improved supply for the remainder of 2025.

John Donegan, Brand Director of Škoda Ireland, commented: "The new Enyaq facelift is now available to test drive at Škoda showrooms nationwide. We’re excited to offer an even more attractive entry price point with the Enyaq 60, from only €43,060. Starting from €45,250, the Enyaq 85 is expected to be our best-seller due to its impressive range. We’re also looking forward to the arrival of a new high-performance Enyaq RS later this year. Until then, customers can choose the dynamic new Sportline variants, with the Enyaq 85 Sportline starting at €52,750, and the Enyaq 85x Sportline all-wheel-drive version available for an additional €1,500. We currently have excellent Enyaq availability, and to celebrate the launch, 0% hire purchase finance is available for a limited time."

The new Enyaq 85 offers significantly improved charging performance, reaching from 10% to 80% battery capacity in just 28 minutes with DCcharging at up to 175kW. New features include Remote Park Assist and enhanced functionality through the MyŠkoda app, which now fully integrates "PowerPass" charge card services and billing.

Across the range, standard features include heated leather front seats, a heated steering wheel, KESSY Advanced with Open-On-Approach and Walk-Away Locking, 3-zone Climatronic air conditioning, Side Assist, Predictive Adaptive Cruise Control (pACC), and Traffic Jam Assist. Customers can also choose between two luxurious  leather/combination leather Interior Design Selections: Suite Cognac or Suite Black. For drivers who like to stand out, Sportline models feature Matrix LED headlights, 20-inch alloy wheels, and distinctive Sportline design elements in the interior and exterior.

Both the Škoda Enyaq and Škoda Elroq are now available to test drive at Škoda dealers.

Prices provided include VRT rebate, SEAI grant and estimated dealer delivery. Data figures are based on WLTP values.

77kWh Enyaq now seems competitively priced for the first time since 2023 unless there’s another few sneaky €K to be added in delivery charges, service packs etc. ?

Depends on the spec on the car for that €45K compared to the competition.
