Wellington boots that don't stand upright when you take them off. Real pain having to pick them up to put them on.

Wake me up when it's all over.

    A very trivial one...

The victim in the murder mystery Im watching is called Linda Martin. We have only seen the body.

Gonna take me a while to not think about a certain Eurovision legend.

Pint after work, run out the door to go around to the shop and there's a lad stood there with his mountain bike left on the ground right outside the door 🤬 ffs there's space either side and he's just abandoned it like a toddler

This is an excellent TA. An almost perfect example of the spirit of the threads.

One of my dog-walking boots always flops over. That's almost more annoying.

another one of my favourite tiktokers gone and deleted….. they started on their account today doing product placement and some extremely bad acting….I’m not starting to watch a vid now wondering if 20 seconds in if it’s basically just turning into another advertisement for Starbucks……

Girl is earning about $125,000-$140,000 as part of her 9-5 in the aviation industry… she just must be extremely cash hungry…

I decided to wash my bedsheets yesterday so took them off the bed, and brought in the clean ones. I got a bit distracted but put the old sheets in the washing-machine. Fast-forward to 30 minutes after midnight last night, and I realised I hadn't put the sheets onto the bed.

Then I remembered that I hadn't even switched the washing-machine on, either. 🙄

The only good thing was that I used the annoyance to flip and rotate my hefty mattress in a primal act of frustration. 😀

woke up this morning concerned about the immediate smell of burning….. satisfied pretty quickly that nothing here is on fire…. I find one of my close ( in distance ) neighbours is burning a tree that they cut down out their back. Nice… Monday AM pre 9.00 and there are chainsaws and fire on the fûcking go. Bizarre.. people just get worse.

Local Tesco's self-scan has less than half the amount of cash-receiving scanners than card ones, so I am frequently left standing in a queue watching ppl at one of the only cash/card tills rummages in their pockets/bags to find their cards/phones!

Ta2 same shop yes there was a bit of a queue so a youngster on their phone felt that standing millimetres behind me at the cash/card till would help me scan faster😂, passed on the way out and they were still trying to find the pay app on their phones!

This comes up on my work PC every afternoon without fail. I've no idea what it is.

a pile of admin and legwork done to resolve a problem, that has only ensured another envelope arriving at my door this morning with a letter and more forms to be filled…

It’s a government agency but for fûcks sake is there no way in this day and age that there might be a convenient online method of communication ( email, hello ??? ) with an actual accompanying link to do this online ? Last time I did look, it was 2024, not 1994. 🤌🏻……….

I think it might be getting time to start looking ‘elsewhere’

In a coffee shop the other day and 5/6 young girls (early 20's) sat at a table the other side of room, but the racket of them !

do they all have to talk at the one time at high levels ?? Not to mention the screecy laughing

purchased a lasagne in a box…im presuming it’s cooked and just needs microwaving….then I gots to read the instructions anyway. The instructions are weirdly on a ‘sticker’ placed on the bottom of the box, that are scratched mostly illegible. does it need cooking or heating ? I have to google the product to see…ok it’s just to be heated but the results are disappointing….followed the microwave instructions to the letter and the thing melts practically…. So it ends up a bit like lasagne stew. Nice flavour but I wanted a meal to eat, not to drink..liquid lasagne. ❌

When it's still morning time and someone doesn't make a fresh carafe of coffee after finishing one. It's so quick and easy to start. The wait is the annoying part. If you take the last cup ffs just start another one. Especially in the am.

Just why is it so hard to get tickets for Kilmainham jail?

The two teenagers who left the remains of Chinese takeaway on the ground despite having a bin about a foot away from them.

My next door neighbor. A lovely man an all that. But when he's out pottering around his garden he has the annoying habit of whistling loudly and tunelessly.

Similar for me yesterday - that was one table, the other one (even screechier) was women in their 60s and 70s. Good lord it was insufferable.

I wanted to keep my hand in at a specific skill, so I made up a question which forced me to do each part of everything to get the final answer!

Yesterday I got it all loaded up and started work on the grid, some parts came back to me reasonably easily and the key q for the final part I just couldn't remember the formula, I spent so much time on the AI that I felt I should bring it out for a drink for being so helpful and not calling me an idiot in the three hours I was stuck on the formula.

Got up early this am and tackled it again, went round and round in circles for over an hour today as well, Ta I am such a dope that when the question was count the cells totalling 25, 3 hours over 2 days before co-pilot and I figured out that >is the symbol for another question and the answer I needed this time was =!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ta2 that I felt so rude giving commands to co-pilot such as tell me why this formula doesn't work. My form of dyslexia and mathematic symbols are such a bad mix!!!

Claimed money back from my employer on an eyetest recently. I'm an employee so obviously they choose to reimburse me by cheque rather than just in my wages. Such waste! Not sure if I'll bother next time.
