Can none of you hear or see the band performing the songs on the tour? They’re to the left and right of the stage. They’re hardly playing instruments with no sound for 3.5 hours for fun? I was at Rep tour, it’s 100% live on the night. Not sure how anyone could make the case that this is ‘lip syncing’ with a backing track…

For the tour movie, corrective technology was used I think to make her voice more in tune and perfect sounding as I’ve watched tons of her livestreams and prefer the raw live sound. Maybe you’re referring to the bad blood chorus. Black space is definitely live too - you can hear the breathing.

    Cannot wait for Dublin.

Im not sure you understand what a backing track is or what it does.

Nobody is claiming the band isn't playing or that she doesn't sing. She sings a lot during the show, the backing track supports her. Every act like her does, it's not an insult. It makes for a better show.

In that second clip, its pretty obvious which bits she is singing.

She is singing live the bits where she is stationary or walking slowly, any of the bits she is dancing and walking with the dancers is backing track vocals and her mic is off.

Concerts should be mostly live, if people like Springsteen at the age of 74 can do 3 hour plus shows and sing every word then people half his age should be able to.

Modern touring is all about maximising revenue though, and it would be too demanding for acts to actually sing for 3 hours plus 4 nights in a row like Taylor is without a lot of backing tracks and trickery going on.

Shania Twain an artist who lost her voice many years ago, and had throat surgery recently completed a Uk and Ireland tour.

8 shows in 11 days, you think she is singing all the show lol.

Springstein puts on far less of a show than TS. Ones a production and an experience where it's impractical to sing every word live. Comparing the two is comparing apples and oranges. Yeah, they're both fruit but very bloody different.

Do you know how a backing track works? They pre record it with a live band, prob during rehearsals, so her breathing will be picked up too. No one is saying it’s studio vocals. She is not singing most of Karma. It’s not an issue for me but saying she is singing 100% is not true.

Most pop artists do it, especially those who dance a lot.

Does she sing live of course but to suggest all her vocals are 100% live is wickedly gullible seems to be a trend with the "Swiftie".

She sings Enchanted and All too well fully live, and you won’t hear anyone sing them better. But my favourite is probably Long Live and she fully sings that too.

I wonder will Taylor sing ‘You’ll never walk alone’ at the anfield show?? That would be awesome if she closes the night with that. She can even wear the new Lpool home shirt when singing it.

Does anyone know/remember what sections the €150 seats were? Are they nosebleeds?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,500 ✭✭✭Zardoz

No they were lower level, good seats.

    Nosebleeds were ~ 85 euro I think.

Some upper stand tickets were €120 each also.

Anyone know if you need a code to be able to see/buy resale tickets for the Dublin shows on ticketmaster? I registered last year at the time of the original ticket sale and ended up on the wait list, but didn't end up with a code. I've checked and refreshed ticketmaster for resale tickets countless times over the last 6 months and never seen a single resale ticket listed, but wondering now if they aren't showing up for me because I haven't entered a code.

Resale tickets can be listed so I’d say it’s just that tickets go quite fast when they do pop up. There should be plenty of tickets floating round over the next 2 months

Does anyone know when the tickets become transferable or when you can give them to someone else?

How dare she drop Long Live from the set list!! Only 1 song from Speak now is just wrong. I would have Sparks fly, Back to December, Speak now, Enchanted, Long Live and I can see you on it. Taylor need to do 4hr concerts ffs.

I am going to insist that Disney+ update my Eras tour with the live TTPD songs from Paris. And they need to do this asap.

Much more annoyed about The Archer being dropped.

For me Tolerate it was an amazing performance and song. Loved her acoustic LOML last night.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,808 ✭✭✭Man Vs ManUre

I didn’t see it but I’d prefer if she dropped the acoustic set, it’s too dull compared to the rest. Agree tolerate it was great live, so was tlgad and ttds from folklore/evermore and shudnt be dropped. Its hard to say what she shud drop as all her songs are so great.

You needed to have applied last July for the verified fan thing.

Extra codes will probably be sent out to people waitlisted, thats whats happening in other countries.

Oh yes, for paris they released extra tickets a week before gigs, but you needed a code. Plus a lot of people wanted to sell/transfer just days before the gig.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,808 ✭✭✭Man Vs ManUre

She needs to do full version of the black dog. Could it be time to drop the 10mins all too well or go back to its original?? She could have headlined Glastonbury and just did a totally different setlist/staging to the eras tour.
