DAA hiring Airport Police Officers 👮‍♂️

Medical is BMI levels, no underlying conditions etc,

pushing and pulling people strength etc…

I got an interview date, but know absolutely nothing else, what to study, what to look up. anyone had an interview already ?

What do these lads and ladies do that differentiate them from the Guards, I didn’t even know we had an airport police.

The airport Police are in charge of policing the airport district and have power of arrest same as guards.

They sent me an email last week

Keep the good spirits lads! 🤞 they have interviewed internal candidates first two weeks ago (so many of them too!) then external last week and this week. I can’t imagine it’ll take long now before they reach out with the outcome…

Your post is not accurate, beacuse I had my interview the week beginning 25th March and I am an external candidate.

Over 1.5 week of interviews were completed, I know several others who had an interview within a two week period. I was told at my interview that I did very well to get an interview as they were inundated with applications and the majority didn't get an interview at all. This is why I said that I guess there won't be any more interviews. They made it clear that only the people who had got an invitation to interview at that time was the only candidates that made the cut.

Also I didn't insinuate that the above poster provided incorrect information. I said that the above poster did provide incorrect information because they stated:

This is clearly incorrect ans misleading information as I was an external candidate and did my interview the week beginning 25th March 2024, when the above poster said that they were only interviewing internal candidates that week. That's simply a fact so the poster was indeed incorrect.

Time will tell who is right or wrong but I really do belive for my reasons above that anyone who hasn't got an interview date at this stage will receive word that they are unsuccessful very shortly. Again, I don't mean this to dampen anyone's spirits but from my experience I think that's a very realistic outcome.

I was talking to the lads who applied internally and they are still waiting to hear back on the outcome of their interviews. I was also told (private source) that the hiring process is not finished and it will take few more weeks, as they are still working through applications. I worked at Dublin Airport for 10 years as the ASU supervisor and have relevant degree I can’t see why I wouldn’t get selected for the interview. Let’s hope for the best! Enjoy your weekend!
