Is the park and ride free?

Thinking of heading down on Thursday.

It’s not but hoping to pick up an unwanted ticket for under €50. I think the early bird was €30. 50 seems a bit steep and I can’t get there til around noon anyway.

Got a Thursday ticket on adverts for the early bird price.

What time would be best to be there for the pro am ?

I have 2 tickets to sell for Friday, bought as a present, conflicting with something else.

General Admission. 80 euro for the pair.

It looks like the only way to get there at all is from Maynooth. I could be wrong but you'll have to drive past the K Club in heavy traffic to get to Maynooth in order to wait around for a bus to go back towards the K Club and the same on the way back. I'd guess it's a long enough trip instead of what should be 20 minutes on a bus

Would it be possible to see the rugby at the K club anywhere?

I can never understand this. You either go to watch the golf or you stay at home and watch a match. I remember last year at Mt Juliet half the crowd on the Sunday seemed to be stuck to their phones watching a formula 1 race.

For me the attraction of going to a golf tournament is you’re there and invested in what’s happening right in front of you. I turn the phone on silent and don’t go near it until I’m back in the car.

In fairness, that's kinda the joys of Golf that you can take a break for an hour-or-so to relax and still fit in 7/8 hours of walking watching it throughout the day.

Hard to understand everything though.

Normal European tour coverage it seems unless the put something on European tour platforms. I thought we might have got a feature group for Rory round tomorrow morning

I'm pretty sure I remember previous DP World Tour events starting early this year.

Wonder why it's different with this event.
