    Hi.

    Went looking back through FR.

Here is the aircraft in question. Tail number: RA-02795.

    Screenshot_20230823-212117_Flightradar24.jpg

It's transponder was switched on quite late, when it was well into it's Climb to cruising altitude.

This is the point at which it appears on the tracking software, climbing through 16,900ft. The time is 15.02 UTC.

    Screenshot_20230823-213622_Flightradar24.jpg

Here, the aircraft is continuing as normal, now at almost FL 270. The time is now 15.11 UTC.

    Screenshot_20230823-213924_Flightradar24.jpg

Then, a few seconds later , The aircraft transponder signal stops, and the aircraft disappeared from "radar" ( not primary radar) at FL26825. The aircraft appeared to be in level flight at this stage, at a speed of just below 400kts. Note the Aeroflot 737 ( miraculously still flying without any western maintenance C and D checks or support, apparently, I might add) following behind.

    Screenshot_20230823-214021_Flightradar24.jpg

The pilots of the following Aeroflot commercial flight, would have seen the Embrarer on their TCAS display and, 2000ft above them and almost directly in front, would have seen any explosions pertaining to the aircraft. This commercial flight peeled away to the left on a different heading just after the anomaly with the Embrarer, on its planned flight path.

    Screenshot_20230823-214223_Flightradar24.jpg

There is one airbase to the south of where the aircraft came down, around 50km away. A home to Mig interceptor aircraft (25's or 31's?), this airport's runway was closed in 2014 for repairs and it is not entirely clear if it is currently operational.

It was Russian military wearing unmarked uniforms who were sent into Donbass by Putin to foment war by attacking ethnic Russians, and blaming it on Ukrainians, ( same stunt Putin did with the Moscow apartment bombing's. He organized it then blamed the Chechen's for it, and declared war on Chechnya. Its what got him elected) And these so called protectors of ethnic Russians in Donbass, were armed to the teeth, including with BUK Missiles.

Nope. Nearest aircraft was an Aeroflot 737 following behind. Regards. P.

I don't even believe the silly theory I posted. Just adding to the noise of nonsense that'll follow.

That Wagner are buying the official line doesn't make me any less skeptical. They'd no idea he'd pull the plug on the march to Moscow. Subordinates are treated like mushrooms in Russia. I'd like to see confirmation from a non Russian source is all. But I don't see that happening.

The guy surely knew he was on borrowed time but maybe he was that arrogant/stupid to assume he wouldn't be touched.

    Thanks.

Your last post once again shows that people that criticised your post in this thread are wrong. 👍

Except that Jet he was on, was his own ( and he has two, apparently ) but where did you get the idea he was wanted in Russia? Simply not true. Putin lulled Prigozhin into a false sense of security, made future plans etc. and when he (Putin) had covered all the possible responses to Prigozhin's death, and it was as safe as possible for him to kill Prigozhin, he killed him.

I'm sure there's a reasonable explanation for all this. His plane probably accidentally fell out of a 2000 story high window.

    What’s that old saying?

    Oh yeah,

“Make a deal with the devil….”

    Common sense Prigo.

According to Prigozhin himself, the whole escapade was aimed at Shoigu and Gerazimov, who he claimed were refusing to supply him with the arms he needed to take Bakhmut, and the cause of many of his men getting killed, and as such was not aimed at or meant to overthrow Putin. However, Putin didn't interpret it that way, and promptly hightailed it out of the Kremlin ( same as most of the top brass.) when Prigozhin's armed convoy came within 70 miles of Moscow. So as we now know, a deal of one kind or another was hammered out between Putin and Prigozhin, which led Prigozhin into a false sense of security. Putin bided his time, neutralizing the Wagner group, and killing Prigozhin. The burning question now though is, has the Wagner group (and others) been neutralized enough....

Putin gave the order, strength by any means is respected in Russia.

Great example for what's part of BRICS ideology.

World no safer while Russia, previously contained exists they armed NK ffs

I'm trying to find a video that was posted after the attempted coup by Prigozhin, it was an interview with a guy who was hilarious and saying Prigozhin will be dead by August. This thread is so huge and I've no idea who posted it, can any one resurface it. It was brilliant.

You'd imagine Wagner are done in it's current guise and there will be no regrouping and vengeance for their fallen leader if he is in fact dead and we aren't in for a huge plot twist.

They are mercs they will be loyal to whoever pays them the most.

That said Lukashenko should not telegraph his movements for the next while.

It will be interesting to see if the other leaders of the BRICS will make a comment on the fiery demise of Prigozhin. No doubt Xi Jinping will think, well played my dear friend, but Putin, who had spoken some hours before on the need for safeguarding international law and and order, has made the summit look rather ridiculous.

been away on a mission that they said was impossible...well...seems it wasnt so impossible and international headlines were made 😁

on a serious note...what happens now? are there enough of a leadership left in the wagner group to do anything?or do they just pack up in Africa and head home?

yo! donnie vonredactedpants, vlad putin, benji netanyahu, vic orban..you sirs are the skidmarks on the jocks of humanity!!!

I think not only China but all Bric and most African countries have about as much respect for law and order as Putin does i.e. the only law is the law of the jungle and all orders come from the man (always a man) at the top.

The speeches are just an elaborate in-joke

I'll believe he's dead when theres a positive ID from the wreckage. Remember when they raided his house they found loads of disguises he could use. Wouldn't put it past him to stage this so he could disappear to Africa.

Only 27 bombers they say? I wonder how many of those 27 are even fit to fly?

And this is Ukrainian Intelligence saying it too, which suggests they know where they are. I wonder if that sneaky AFU drone team have a couple more missions in them? Mightn't take much to cripple the Russian's bomber capabilities.

My interptetaion at the time was it was a march to overthrow Putin, yes he ranted against Shoigu, but getting so close , I'm surprised he didnt try go all the way , given most people expected yesterdays outcome if it was thwarted or halted with a pact . Perhaps he fealt they would not get closer before carnage, but it was strange to stop when he did, like miuch in this we will probalby never know for sure.

Yeah, it makes perfect sense that he’s swanning around Africa going completely unnoticed.

Also interestingly, boats (don't think there were any landing craft) were stationed just off the Crimea coast yesterday and shot at a Russian SU-30. There's speculation that they may also have been the source of explosion at the S400 air defence system yesterday too using an anti-ship missile.

The clashes and reported landing on the peninsula look to be around the same area as the boats were operating though. Nearest village is Mayak.

Ergdogan performing political gymnastics again stating "Crimea is Ukraine" and calling on the release of Crimean Tatar leaders. This was yesterday.

The inner circle of Russian leadership and supportive oligarchs will be looking around nervously for the next while.

I dunno, I think there's a strong bang of " his clothes were found in a neat pile on the beach" off this.

He will know soon enough. Wagner will have a new leader that toes the line. If some of the top people in the organisation were still around it might be different, the foot soliders won't rise up.
