Russia - threadbanned users in OP

It was on the front page of reddit for hours last night. The Ukrainian subreddit is claiming its legit. There's plenty of kids on that site without people having to post stuff like that. Wtf is wrong with people?

It's the long-range s-300s,Buks and tors that are denying high and medium level air superiority to the Russians , and ensuring that they're flying low .. which puts them into manpad territory..

The Russian missile and long drone range drone attacks were to deplete these higher altitude / longer range missiles , and they appear to be doing that ..

There appear to be western alternatives , but maybe not enough , and at high price ,

There was talk of using American sparrow missiles with the Buk system , but they're much shorter range ,

I don't really buy that argument about "educating" themselves. I can imagine what a beheading looks like without watching a video of a real person being killed.

I think it's more just morbid curiosity.

And I also don't find the existence of these videos surprising, given that there have already been castration videos and videos of being sledgehammered. It's disgusting, but this is what war does to young men

Most people sharing it are blurring it out. I would say very few people want to actually see the gruesome act itself. I know when I seen anything of the video myself being shared I scroll quickly past it. Although im sure there may be one or two that would.

However IMO it is important that this story is shared and not brushed aside. Their are a large amount of people in the west and even in our own country here that blatantly support what Russia are doing or at the very least sympathise with their position.

They need to be made aware of what exactly they are supporting, and shown that in fact this is not just MSM or 'Western propaganda' making this stuff up.

Being able to fight for 2 more years means very little in terms of what might be accomplished or the ultimate outcome.

Nazi Germany fought for two entire years past the war being irreversibly lost, with absolutely no chance of victory at any point during that time. All they were doing was staving off inevitable defeat by sacrificing millions of men in a completely unwinnable war.

Russian land forces have already lost the best of everything it had prior to the war, having made incredibly little progress at enormous cost.

At this stage they're looking at increasingly diminishing returns. Having massive stockpiles of outdated equipment can maybe ensure they'll keep going, maybe make some limited gains, but it's not going to lead to ultimate victory and it's not remotely sustainable.

Putin seems to operating out of the Hitler playbook, desperately hinging on something external happening that'll reverse their misfortune or allow them to stabilise on a permanent basis. Political fractures, ending of western support, etc.

From a purely military POV Russia can continue to do major damage and occupy Ukrainian lands at enormous cost to themselves and their economy, but it's not capable of mounting war-winning offensives.
