Which Australia will Turn up? How much can be learned from playing the same old gang for Ireland?

an open game with Tonnes of try’s is what the people want !

Maybe we could learn what station the game is on.

Its not on RTE. Rather Virgin Media 2.

A couple of changes is a enough in rugby. The team needs to change how they play a little bit and hopefully they do.

Its not about learning its about winning games, we'll learn about others when others earn their spot in the team. That's the challenge for Casey, McCarthy, Crowley off the bench tonight.

That could lead to massive problems if and when injuries deprive the team of the first choice players. That happened in 2019 and 2015

Whatever will happen will happen, giving someone a cap or two isnt going to magically resolve that problem.

It didnt happen in 2019, Dan Leavy was the only player injured for the QF.

2015 nothing could have prepared us for, doubt any team could cope losing the entire spine of their team in one fell swoop.

And how many were injured and unavailable v Japan? A loss that meant we played all blacks. Starting with Jack Carty v Japan who only had 2 starts against poor teams is what messed us up.

I cant count, 1 player. You think 1 start in an autumn international would have made all the difference?

No team does what you suggest they should do, it just delusion that Irish fans seem to think happens.

No team deliberately rests players and put their team at risk of losing just to "have a look"...the players being looked at actually had to earn their place in the XV.

Crowley starting with Ross Byrne as back up is not something anyone would've expected three weeks ago. Essentially 4th and 5th choice on the depth chart from back then.

Huge game for Crowley, hope he goes well, but let's not expect too much..if he goes well, great, but this is a big ask. I hope we don't see folks here go overboard if he doesn't live up to expectations.

No better game for it to happen. Carbery will be a bit sick, but thems the breaks. We'll need four fully active outhalves in 2023, none of them as unprepared as Carty in 2019.
