Let's talk about Kherson. 

Some units received orders to withdraw from the right bank, some units have already crossed over, some are still ensuring the withdrawal of the remaining forces. Some still have not been told what is going on at all.

Soon tonight, you will hear a lot of excuses and stories about how it will only get better. It won't. Some are already claiming that the result of surrendering Kherson is a backroom political game and yet another gesture of goodwill. However, this is not entirely true either. The result of what is taking place is months of systematic mistakes and failure to correct mistakes, which snowballed and brought us here, and then everything else. 

Back in July, during one of the first (and eventually final) closures of the Antonov bridge due to shelling, we stated (https://t.me/milinfolive/87355) that if the threat to the Dnieper crossings was not eliminated, it could lead to the surrender of Kherson as a result of an AFU attack. Alas, it all came true.

During the months of fighting in the Kherson direction, the right bank grouping had lost its main supply and ammunition routes, and the units were far from their regular strength. All this prevented any offensive operations to push the HIMARS further inland so they could no longer threaten the Dnepr bridges. The entrenched problems of interaction, the ultra-centralized decision-making chain, the lack of reconnaissance and high-precision means of engaging the enemy's targets to a depth of at least a few dozen kilometers made it impossible to resolve these problems on our own.

To sum it up: what is going on is a combination of disastrous mistakes, years and months of unsolved problems, and the lack of the necessary resources. If the enemy comes to the Dnieper River, the northern part of Crimea will already be under the threat of enemy strikes, and in the prospect of receiving new means from NATO - the entire peninsula, the airfields and the base of the Black Sea Fleet.

Ukrainian presidential adviser Podolyak: Ukraine does not pay attention to Russian statements, words and actions are different, our armed forces work according to their own plan - reconnaissance, risk assessment, effective counterattack.
