Agreed ref Tipp as imagine it would be rare for anyone to commute from North Tipp to South Tipp on a daily basis

To anyone who has interviewed within the last two weeks, have they told you if you've passed or not? I had my interview two weeks ago and haven't heard anything back.

I was wondering why a County the size of Tipperary was moving so slow, very recently they were only at 52 so are you saying that most of these have been placed in Revenue in Nenagh? That seems strange - what about all the other offices and departments in the County? Why are they not filling places? I am oom just over 100 and score of 5847 and probably havn't a hope of getting called for interview stage and still I hear all the offices are crying out for staff? Is it always like this in Tipperary?

Hi, was your nursing experience previous or did you jump directly from HSE nursing to CO?

Anyone who interviewed between the 12th - 30th Sept waiting on results, this is why:

The most recent batch of Clerical Officer interviews was scheduled for 12th - 30th of September.

Unfortunately, the results cannot be released until the batch is complete and everyone has been interviewed, as the results are sent to all candidates at the same time.

The results should be ready to be sent next week and will be sent within two weeks at the latest

Hi All, I think I’ve made a huge mistake 🤦🏼‍♀️.I handed in my resignation because they asked permission to contact my current employer for a reference. So I had to tell them and give notice. But I haven’t formally been given an offer. I’m being considered for the position. My pre employment checks are done and Garda vetting is done there onto references now ,have I jumped the gun to soon or is there a lot more checks to go before the position is offered and begins?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 63 ✭✭WednesdayGirl

I think you have the new position presuming the references are satisfactory. You might have to wait a while for official offer tho but I'd say you are OK

Don't worry, when they say you are "being considered" it means they have a position for you, assuming garda vetting and references are okay.

Is there any work from home in the passport office?

No I don't think you have made a mistake, once they get your reference back, they will contact you...send them an email, they are very good about replying..good luck.

@citygirl22 When requested I sent off my Garda clearance. 2 days later I was told I got courts services in Cork. The Garda clearance had not been returned to PAS at that stage. It came through a week later. I contacted PAS and they said they received it and will be in contact ASAP. I emailed the courts service yesterday and still haven't received a response. I was told I was getting a position there on the 22nd of sept if that's any help to you

@ciara_mar Hi what county is this in? I was offered a position on the 22nd of sept in Cork, Garda clearance complete and still heard nothing.
