Best bargain of 2022 so far!

    Kudos @Kingp35

    Just sold my 1.3 DOTs for €11.50 - 29c fee = €11.21

Took about 6 minutes and the hardest part was working out how to sell the DOT for Euro!

    I got €11.49 in DOT. I'm rich!

Nice one, thanks for the heads up.

😂You're definitely better off selling the coins straight away!

For anyone considering holding into their DOT, you may need to wait a while. Of course past performance is no indicator of future returns...

Back in the day, I am gonna guess 2012 or 2013 maybe a bit later there was a legendary thread on here, similar to this, all you needed to do was sign up to a site and you would get a number of the lumen crypto coin, which at the time had no value. Ended up with a few thousand of them over a few accounts I think. Kept it in wallets and being honest had forgotten about them. 2017 comes along and these coins ended up having value and were readable. Took a while to remember how to retrieve them etc but with the help of this site and people on it managed get them and sell them. Give or take received about 1500 euros for them....

I've gained lots from this site over the years in many ways but that's the most direct money I've gotten for it!

So while selling them straight away might make sense, wouldn't it be great if you kept hold of them, forgot about them and then years later were told their value had skyrocketed?

    A great story to tell!

Not a fan of the crypto scene but theres money there if you get lucky with timing.

I don't seem to have a "learn" section on mine :/

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,126 ✭✭✭homah_7ft

If you go to the hub section and access crypto from there you should see it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 893 ✭✭✭danslevent

Even via the hub section it just seems to say "buy bitcoin and more" as the only option.

I didn't either when I first read about the quiz giveaway a month or so ago. It eventually appeared.

I'm guessing that it's being rolled out gradually to customers.

It's interesting to see that OP's post already has more thanks than the original post from 4 month ago. Is this because people who swore that they would never use Boards again after the update have slowly started crawling back? Is OP one of these people? 😄

Not showing up for me, I still have the 4.50 in DOT from last time. Is it showing up for anyone who kept it too?

It didn't show up for me automatically then either. I had to agree to some stuff somewhere on the app first (can't remember where) and then type "learn" into the search box.

It's the same one as before, you've already claimed it.

Thanks OP, easy money. €11.47 for 5 minutes work, that's over €100 per hour. Pity no-one tells me the answers for the stupid online work training courses I have to do regularly like this.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28 ThoseSpikesAreSore

Yap. That was the same for me. I had to help my mam out and we couldn't work out how to do it on her phone. It was because she had a different version of the app from when I did it like.

I did it when it was posted and she did it in June when after we came home from holidays.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 97 ✭✭Poyndexter

Thanks OP. Just did it there.

If the learn section isn't showing up for anyone then you may need to update the app which is what I had to do.

Thanks for this, will do it now...

Just an FYI, in theory this is a taxable event that requires a return to Revenue.
