A disinfectant could be many things but most people choose to wrench it out of context and say he suggested injecting bleach even though he explicitly said it would need to be done by doctors and they are looking at many things but the die is cast and the lie is spread so what’s one more person.

Right, are you willing to inject any of them into yourself as a cure for covid? Also, hydrogen peroxide is also commonly known as bleach.

That depends. Under medical supervision maybe. Cancer patients undergo chemo but for covid no because the ifr is so low that risk of dying is very very low.

Btw, hydrogen peroxide is essentially just water with an extra oxygen molecule.

this is so exciting!! what has he been charged with?

  • Registered Users Posts: 900 ✭✭✭sameoldname

And if you strip the oxygen off water you get rocket fuel. I don't know what that has to do with anything though?

People have told me - for real - that you really have to dilute the bleach before ingesting it.

Guess it was actually Really Good Advice, widely misunderstood, like so many things he said. Poor guy, so many witch hunts. Many, many witch hunts. More, bigger witch hunts than anybody else. Tremendous witch hunts.

In case anyone needs a reminder of what he said. I'm not sure how anyone can spin this in a way that makes him look intelligent. It's all in the past though. Dan Quayle has nothing on Trump for just spewing moronic comments.

We sat again for an hour and a half discussing maps and figures and always getting back to that most damnable creation of the perverted ingenuity of man - the County of Tyrone.

Trumpster nonsense. We know what he said. You've even provided a link disproving your own point. This is the problem. Because of the cult-like following he has, they feel the need to defend literally everything he says and does and therefore jettison all credibility in the process.

What is your basis for assuming that it is some sort of conspiracy?

We know we had illegally taken documents, we know he stalled on giving these back, we know we gave some if not all these documents back.

The likely reason for the raid is they knew there were documents not returned and they were forced, since Trump lied to them, to get them back.

His lawyers have not expressed anything to signal anything different. Trump has not denied the idea it was about classified documents.

But it suits Trump to say nothing as it allows his supporters to simply make up anything.

What we do know, 100%, is that the FBI lead by a Trump appointee and with a history of trying to stay out of politics, obtained a search warrant from a Trump appointed Judge.

Trump has no launched any legal proceedings against the warrant, the DBI or the Judge. His lawyers have not claimed the search was illegal.

As usual with anything to do with Trump, its the hypocrisy. Lock HC up, Biden must be involved with something Brandon definitely did. Everyone is guilty upon the slightest suspicion except for Trump who is always innocent and should be believed no matter what.

What makes you think that the serial liar is now the one telling the truth?

Can you tell me the time stamp in the video where he said "injecting bleach" or even just the word "bleach"?

Can you name a disinfectant that one can safely inject and cite in the video where Trump names it?

Hang on. You said he used the word "bleach". Can you just tell me the time stamp on the video where he used the word bleach?

He said "disinfectant" which to virtually everyone means bleach. Answer my question now please.

So you accept he never used the word "bleach" or suggested "injecting bleach"?

As of now, it’s impossible to say if Trump’s alleged offense was great, small, or in between. What is certain is that this is a big story, and its bigness extends in many directions, including the huge political risk inherent in the decision to execute the raid. If it backfires, if underlying this action there isn’t a very substantial there there, we may be looking at the dumbest and most inadvertently destructive political gambit in the recent U.S. history.

Sorry. What exactly is the point of this other than a bit of semantic pedantry? Do you think it's important, or changes the upshot of Trump's then remarks, that he suggested one insane approach to curing yourself of CoVid other than another? Worth pointing out he also talked about shining UV light alongside the ingestion of misc. fluids - ie, talking shíte.

Or do we just pivot to the countless other times Trump offered inane, or just insane, musings on subjects about which he had no baseline knowledge of - be it CoVid cures, bombing hurricanes, windmills causing cancer, and so on? Whether he said bleach, or disinfectant, or magic-burning-cleaning-juice, is besides the point.

Pedantry is a poor pillar on which to rest a defence. "Disinfectant" and "Bleach" are interchangeable terms to most people. This is coming across as a typical attempt by Trump supporters to shut down any and all criticism of him.

As of now, we know that Trump himself saw this offence as serious enough to sign into law an increase in jail time from the previous 1 year to 5 years. So one needs to ask why Trump felt in 2018 that this was serious but now others want to argue that it really isn't. Of as now it's impossible to say what the outcome for Trump will be. To see an unprecedented raid on such a high-profile individual surely points to this being pretty major. Think of all the stuff the elite people get away with, yet the FBI stepped in here. That to me signals that Trump stepped over a line and this is serious. I am almost certain that he was given every opportunity to deal with this without this going this way and this was very much the last resort.

There is only a political risk because Trump supporters, including the GOP, want to politicise it. This is simply the FBI doing what would be expected of any other citizen. To argue that it could have blowback is to argue that certain people are above the law and should be treated differently simply for being who they are. I would argue that that very much makes Trump a member of the Elite. Which I thought was the very thing Trump supporters were fighting against!

Come again??? Did Trump have a private server in Mar-a-lago? Do we recall anything so dramatic in cases involving people like Bill Clinton’s former National Security Adviser Sandy Berger (who was stuffing classified documents down his pants)? How about when Dick Cheney claimed an exemption to classification procedures and one of his aides, Leandro Aragoncillo, admitted in court to stealing classified info to pass on to coup plotters in the Philippines? Lets not forget the whining of the Trump-era media about how over-covering Hillary Clinton’s mishandling of classified information led to the election of Trump.

We've been hearing of these investigations into Trump for the last 6 years and every one of them has led to a nothing burger.

They believe anything out of Alex Jones and other CT grifters.

The only other person who said that trump didn't say to inject bleach was putin, who they also believe was justified in invading Ukraine.

Ref the medicinal value of bleach as a cure. it's worth remembering the look on the face of the Trump Admin doctor when Trump was at his media briefing in the White House extolling the values of house/toilet sterilizing products. She looked like she wished she was elsewhere while hoping Trump didn't ask her to say the bleach was safe for internal use by humans.

Following up on the previously mentioned reports that an informant was one of the reasons the search warrant was executed:

Rolling Stone reports that, as of now, there is a lot of finger pointing among the inner circle, to denounce possible informants. Motivated, of course, by personal gain and mutual dislikes, not at all because of any genuine attempt to uncover a snitch.

Like a mini civil war in the inner circle.

You said that I posed a link disproving my own point, you then had to concede that you were wrong because you couldn't give the time stamp in the video but it's me being pedantic???

Aren't you even the slightest bit embarrassed or has TDS broken you brain that much?

Did Berger refuse to give the documents back when asked? , Did he lie about how many documents he had? Did he try to pretend that they weren't classified?

Sandy Berger also received the maximum penalty that applied at the time for his offence - Trump is the one that shifted it from a 1yr jail sentence to a 5 year sentence - A decision he may come to regret.

Also - as has been pointed out multiple times - NONE of the investigations into Trump have turned out to be "Nothing Burgers" , each and every one has confirmed his actions were against the law.

    • Mueller report clearly stated that were he not President he would have been charged with Obstruction of Justice.
    • And we now have absolute confirmation that the Trump campaign were indeed "colluding with the Russians".
    • He was an "un-indicted conspirator" when Cohen was sent to Prison , again only saved by being President.
    • He was impeached twice.
    • He just took the 5th to avoid self incrimination in his NY Tax fraud case (which only the guilty do, according to the man himself)
    • Things are moving ahead with the Election Interference case in Georgia.
    • The January 6th Committee findings will probably lead to charges (see the seizure of Rick Scott phone as evidence that things are moving ahead there)
    • The E Jean Carroll Sexual assault case is on the docket for later this year.
    • And then of course we have this weeks "court case du jour" for the Serial offender arising from his theft of Government property that he refused to return despite multiple request and that he lied about still having.

So.. Which investigations were "nothing burgers" again???

Oh and as to the question "Did Trump have a Private email server in Mar a Lgo" , well no.

But Jared and Ivanka did , along with Steve Bannon , KT McFarland , Stephen Miller , Reince Preibus and Gary Cohn.
