Are Ferrari just going to use Sainz for LeClerc in this?

It could be an interesting qualy session given the upgrades, heat, wind, and degradation issues.

Verstappen hit 340Kmh on the straight, insane, but seem to lose their gains in sector 3.

That Ferrari should be well able to make it into the points, well if it doesn't catch fire of course. I'd expect Sainz to finish in the top six at least

That track is in a beautiful location.

This track limits buzz…it’s very annoying.

    Sainz with a cracker,

    purple all the way.

Ferrari turning it up again for qualification,

Few musings that the redbull car will be superior in the race.

    This is a close one!

Verstappen no chance here, LeClerc it is.

    Norris splits the mercs.

    tasty stuff from Ferrari.

I thought Di Resta would be better saying LeClerc is a red rag to the bulls.

Should be an interesting race tomorrow.

Could be a good race tomorrow - as much stick as the track gets I thought it was a highlight last year. RB could have the edge on race pace but I still expect Leclerc to be there or thereabouts. Can’t wait!

Can't see LeClerc winning tomorrow. RB have their choice of strategy, and probably the better car over the race if the comments on the tyre degradation are anything to go by.

2nd for LeClerc and to top 5 for Sainz would be an achievement. Hopefully we get a good race.

The Red Bull definitely has the better race pace based on the long runs in free practice, but LeClerc can pull a performance out of nowhere.

    Hopefully a decent race.

Pole position has won for the last 3 seasons,

Does it hold any sway this year?, I'd say he would have had a good chance if he had Sainz helping him in the race rather than qualy.

Hard to look past a Redbull win outside of any DNF's.

Verstappen doesn't look or sound like he has much time or patience for Herbert at all.

Well that has got to be one of the most boring qualifying sessions ever.

It really is a terrible track. I want France to have a good track but this is not it.

    Live long and Prosper

    Peace and long life.

    My prediction for GP:

    1. Max Verstappen

    2. Charles Leclerc

    3. Sergio Perez

    4. Carlos Sainz

    5. George Russel

    6. Lewis Hamilton

I really rate Leclerc, but somehting tells me the Redbull will have a faster race pace. Let's see.

Sky F1 are blinded by there love for Mercedes to broadcast a fair and coherent view on Formula 1. At the end of the day three words keep spitting out of there mouths Merc and there two drivers. Just now they were talking about how Mercedes are moving forward and Hamilton really learning about the car.

Well lets look at the facts Sky F1.

Bahrain GP LecLerc on pole. Hamilton 7 tents off. After three races 1 sec off in Australia. Spain 8 tents off. GB Hamilton home race 1 sec off the pace and yeaterday 9 tents off the pace.

The way they have been blowing they actually think Mercedes is going to win a race not going to happen this year unless there is a freak race which is possible.

Anyways have to say Sky F1 is really poor with there false information and ramping of Mercedes.

Yeah I'd agree about sky, really difficult to listen to them.
