Not sure on the exact model but it's the better one with the addressable RGB fans and glass window, as below. Some of them are just plain cases without windows or RGB fans.

It was 1,150E a few months ago for 5700G, 3060Ti, 1TB NVME so it was an absolute steal at the time. I have zero issues with it, runs cool and quiet and looks great.

Just finished my new build last night. Big improvement over my old i5-6600K

Really happy with how it turned out. Should be good for another few years of gaming.

    Intel Core i5-12600K - OC'd to 5.0 GHz

    Gigabyte Z690 Gaming X DDR4

    MSI RTX 2080 DUKE OC

    Corsair 16 GB 3200mhz

Lian Li GALAHAD 240 SL v2

    Lian Li LANCOOL 205 mesh

Is there a way to set a Nvidia GPU to automatically adjust fan speed without using MSI afterburner. Have noticed lately my fan speed is stuck at 48% and well into 90° while playing a game (750Ti) - could do with an upgrade, I know. Recently the fan has not been spinning at above 48% I have to start afterburner which overrides the fan speed to auto. GPU is able to handle the game because once afterburner boots everything cools down as it should. Is it something the game might be not doing, trying to understand why the fan speed would be so low with the game (factorio). Have always noticed the fan speed would increase automatically.

They'd have to have been purchased in last 14 days to be returned without RMA, right?

OCUK still offering a miserly warranty period of b-grade items - 90 days, and if you think that's cheap, until a while back it was a pathetic 30 days. In some cases the price saving was only 10%.

The coin they were mostly mining (Ethereum) cannot be mined any more. They changed it to a staking coin now rather than a mining one.

Anyone ever order off gamingchairsireland.ie - asked a question with their online form and they sent me a discount code stating I left items in my basket before even acknowledging they received my query. They do not have PayPal as an option for payment. Are they reputable?

(aside from the fact they sent me an email tracking my online activity on their website without permission to do so or not displaying any terms or GDPR about subscribing and opting in to a totally separate service with a deliberate attempt to gain a customer who is asking a genuine question about a product they have for sale on their website)

I bought a gaming chair off smyths toys and I'm very happy with it. I find it comfortable and only cost €140.

I have an old PC sitting around, wondering what you guys think would be a reasonable price? Should have sold it last year but lazy and not that bothered. It's a 10600K with 16GB Ram and RX5500, 500GB SSD, basic glass window case forget the model. Was thinking 600?

€600 for normal people, or a fifty euro One-for-All card and a second hand George Foreman grill from people on Adverts.

Thermalright Peerless Assassin seems pretty good.

Basically was gonna say whats already apparent in the video: these all look the same as each other, and it's just down to execution. I have the Be Quiet! Dark Rock TF2 and it's neat. Nice to see something in white! Maybe I'll think up a white case build next.

Noctua fan cable's way too short on their fans, their fans don't ship with all cables. Ordered 2 4 pin PMW (140x25 and a slimmer 120x15) which came with the 30cm "extension cables" only. Had to use the extension cable from the 120 to connect the 140mm up to mobo. ~4cm too short with the little tiny cable coming out of the fan. Forgot to order a Y splitter but as it turns out a Y splitter would be enough in length to connect the second fan. 🙄

They list all included accessories on their site under Specifications -> Scope of Delivery

Not all SKUs include all accessories.

Not to be a kill joy but from what I can see that's based on US stock. It's happening to a much smaller extent in Europe. There are reductions there too but it's not great TBH. Most AMD cards except the RX6800/XT could be got for MRSP or near to it for the last month or so. The overly expensive RX6900XT has dropped below mrsp a number of times, infact some 6900XT's AIB's have been cheaper than 6800XT's AIB's from the same retailers. But I don't think I've seen any Nvidia AIB cards near or below MRSP yet.

The dollar to euro exchange rate is hitting European prices, keeping prices high compared to the US. We in Ireland have the added problem of reduced retailer supply too. These issues aren't going away anytime soon. The second hand market has more stock but it's a lottery , some miners offloading big time, while most cards would be fine the prices aren't at a level I'd consider buying one. Many are selling at new price MRSP or just below MRSP, I don't think that's value on a card that's probably been run 24/7 the last year or 2.

I don't know... Could be waiting another few months. Frustrating thing for us in Ireland is the supply issues caused by Brexit. Scan UK dropped FE cards just after 1 today and 3 hours later everything everything is still in stock including the 3060TI

Was gonna try to cop one there and get a relative to carry it over but just went out of stock I think.

The RTX 3060TI, 3070, 3070TI, 3080TI, 3090 & 3090TI all in stock - Buy GeForce RTX Graphics Cards | NVIDIA GeForce Store in Scan UK

RTX 3090 and others available from NBB in Germany, apparently you need a German IP as well as a German address when ordering - GeForce RTX-Grafikkarten kaufen | NVIDIA GeForce Store

What is AMD's response to AI going to be?

It's going to be competing with both Intel and Nvidia GPUs which use AI/Deep Learning to superscale resolutions etc.; in addition to that if you happen to use your pc for work, there's a growing number of applications where you could conceivably advantage having AI cores on your system - something not available on an RDNA2 PC. You cannot fault Nvidia/Intel either for proprietary AI, they are costly to properly build and train.

All these new cores in the graphics cards, ray tracing, AI, deep learning etc, are just fast processers that deal with a specific maths type. Originally they were FP64/32 but now they are focusing on smaller workloads like FP16/8 and Int8/4 in layers much faster then anything on the CPU or GPU in the past.

So in simple terms, the limitation is the software not interacting with the available hardware, which is there on AMD's cards. I believe Intel and AMD are going to be creating open standards, so things like FSR will work on all devices. Nvidia will continue to be Nvidia and not do that.
