    Reliable taxi around Nenagh????

Event in Nenagh in few months time. I get to Nenagh morning time about 10am. Need to go from there to Ashley Park House.

When that's over, go from there to a guesthouse few mile out the road, then collect from there back to town again following morning for our ride back home

Sorry about the detail just we don't know the area

Possible movement on the drive through building over in Stream. Areas getting a good power wash when i was passing earlier and the boarding gone from the windows. Wonder did the planning for a coffee shop recently make the owners move on it

Any idea when screwfix is opening in nenagh

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,496 ✭✭✭History Queen

Where is that opening? Also what is being built in front of the streame retail park?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,921 ✭✭✭lisasimpson

Not sure where screwfix is meant to be going but they were advertising for staff a month or so ago.

Costa coffee is going into streame

Are they not supposed to be going into the vacant units opposite Lidl?

No move on that drive through unit at Streame I'm told, there's some discrepancy about who actually owns it.

Good to see a bit of movement on the old Dunnes on Pearse St too, hopefully gets leased out when finished.

Also, a new Phone/PC repair shop going in on Friar St opposite the entrance to Ryan's car park.

No they built a new unit at streame. Opened a month ago. Im surprise they didnt go into a unit by lidl.

Did screwfix scrap plans for nenagh. Were meant to be recruiting before christmas. Also nice to see skin formulas in an long empty building on Kenyon St.

Hopefully they can get a move on soon with the old sheenan site over by the garda station. Would love to see the work hub get going soon.

One thing id love to see tackled in nenagh is the organised bugging

Sorry, it's Screwfix I meant for the units at lidl. Or at least that's where they had the planning notice.

Anyone know what the story is with the old dunnes in town. Seems to be getting gutted the last few wks. Lads are earning their money anyways on the job bring out small loads at a time

Ownership of the unit over in Streame seems to be resolved. McDonald's opening towards end of November in it. Fencing went down yesterday around it

Surprised McDonalds are just moving in as it is. They’ve moved passed that layout and have knocked restaurants to change the structural layout of a lot of their restaurants. Their planning application in Thurles was a two-storey restaurant for example.

Ridiculous they closed Cruises street in limerick. It was a gold mine in that location.

If they want to expand it in time they will have plenty of room anyways. Should do well close to jumping gyms and the new eire og juvenile pitch. Just hope council keep an eye on litter down the dark road
