If you didn't require medical intervention or hospitalization medically it's mild. That doesn't mean that some haven't experienced what is akin to a full blown flu but very many have had little more than a slight sniffle.

I happen to know a lady who died from Covid at the weekend. She didn't have any underlying condition and was under sixty but she didn't get the vaccine. Without the vaccine this was deadly for all ages.

For those sold into covid, the idea that Tony just ended it in one moment, has undermined their whole belief structure for the last 2 years.

This virus is wildly unpredictable but I think we can be optimistic that delta won’t return in anything as damaging a way.

I was never scared of dying from covid. I knew that 99% of deaths were of elderly and those with a lot of co-morbidities. I wasn't really scared of being hospitalised with it. I was scared of giving it to my parents, who are elderly, and I was scared of getting long covid. My cousin has ME, resulting from some virus she got in her mid-twenties. She had to move part time in her job and move home to her parents. That really f*cking scared me.

I've seen a lot of anecdotal stories of young, healthy people dying of covid over the past few days- both here and in other places online. There was similar stories of people dying from the vaccine previously and they were rightfully shut down with posts deleted as they were unsubstantiated.

The tide seems to have turned on the scaremongering stories.

I seen online an Anti Vax former Olympian died from Covid. Well the headline said anti vax but he in fact got a vaccine in order to continue working as a coach. He died a week after getting the vaccine . The article said he didnt have enough antibodies a week post jab. Anti vaxxers will say he died as a result of the jab. Depends what your agenda is i suppose.

Young, healthy people were never dying from covid in anything close to substantial numbers, despite Virgin Media's best attempts at portraying it that way.

Maybe you know, they don’t want their staff to catch it.

The lockdowns prevented the virus from reaching into more of the population. The data represented on deaths would be much more if no mitigation measures were taken.
