Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Sleepy day here too, Seph.

I need to do a food shop but I just don't have the motivation.

I'll pay one of you to go to Aldi for me...

kms run. Dogs walked. Dinner on.

What a late night. Head is on auto pilot. I walked out of the bathroom and my family screamed when they saw my head :) I think its big and red and tired.

    Good night though.

Living room, mop in hand, feeling so much better than yesterday when all I did was stay in bed and sleep. OH made a delicious dinner last night to coax me out of the sack - freshly made beef burgers, spuds, onions, broccoli and gravy - so was spoiled! 🥰☺️

Now doing those household chores I put off yesterday - mopping the floors, hoovering, dusting and hanging out the laundry.

  • Moderators, Social & Fun Moderators Posts: 12,887 Mod ✭✭✭✭JupiterKid

Mopping and hoovering now done, Bjork playing on the stereo, taking a breather before unloading the washing.

Just took a good selfie with my new beard to update my FB profile pic. 😎😁

Shameless validation seeking question: do you think that I look like I will turn 47 in a couple of months? 😁

Yeah I listened to that episode as well. Holy feck they really live in denial don’t they. The fact they have a conference as well is worrying.

And I swear if I ever hear the phase do your research one more time I’ll scream.

    Just back from Aldi.

Any amount of antigen tests available now.

I dont care how bad MTV became in their latter years. All I know is their unplugged sessions of bjork... one half of oasis....... eric clapton..... that was/is REAL music. I will always go back to those sessions.

And how sexy was bjork with her little bare feet? :)

Kitchenside making a roast chicken dinner with all the sides. Plate sliding can commence in half an hour or so.

@ cj maxx - nope, trying to put it off for as long as possible. OH still reminding me. 😁

    And speaking of Bjork.... 😁😎💕

Loved her since her Debut back in 1993, the year I finished school, did my Leaving Cert and then started college. Nobody like her before...or since. A truly unique and original artist! 👍👍

Did nothing today . Not altogether happy about that. I do like to be out and about. But dinner was nice and the chocolate stock is going down well too. A few hours at the tech desk tomorrow. Late start as I'm ahead of the game. I may go and have an early few pints tomorrow evening as with restrictions lifted, the late night grifters will be back in their usual routine and not locked out of their brains singing at 6.30 of an evening. I kid you not! The Monday early doors pints are very enjoyable when normal service has resumed.😁

I'll pass you over mine. Roast chicken breast, done in the skin and then skin off. Deboned underneath and only the leg on. Carrot and parsnip batons, gratin, garlic spuds and a splash of gravy on top. Twas very nice. Profiteroles and cream for dessert. Sunday fare!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,209 ✭✭✭✭Grandeeod

Cooked in the skin and served without skin. Try it. Tis great.

Skin is divine, if it's crispy that is 😀

Deskside here, giving the eyepieces of my Oculus a clean. I love that thing but I'm pretty sure my neighbours think I'm crazy when they see me goofing off with that thing on my head 😂🤪

Good luck trying to figure me out. I haven't managed that myself yet!

  • Moderators, Science, Health & Environment Moderators, Social & Fun Moderators, Regional West Moderators Posts: 60,480 Mod ✭✭✭✭Gremlinertia

I'd say an oculus is far from the craziest thing in most neighbourhoods somehow!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,401 ✭✭✭thomil

True that. Some guy cavorting around shooting at invisible targets probably still looks silly, though 😜

Anyway, just getting all the images for my review of that thing ready. Don't really want to go to work tomorrow, but then again, we'll probably hear how the return to the office will look like, and I personally can't wait for that!

Good luck trying to figure me out. I haven't managed that myself yet!

Hahahaha my mind is a cesspit. Can't divulge how i interpreted that 🙃🤣

And I'm not going to ask for details 😂🤣

Just too bad that it's so quiet in here tonight...

True, a few of the regulars would have had a field day! People must be all freedom-ed out. 🙄

No kidding. I was out and about in Cork city today. I've rarely seen the entire city in such a stage of collective hangover...

Good luck trying to figure me out. I haven't managed that myself yet!

Oof five hours, don't envy you.

Oh, I feel your pain. I should have turned in by now as well. Have a bit more than five hours available though thanks to a few organisational changes at work.

Good luck trying to figure me out. I haven't managed that myself yet!

Wasn't that an absolutely spectacular day out there, we got our early morning walk in at 8 a.m. then home for a lovely breakfast, got the Sunday newspapers and a few bits in the local village, relaxed for the day watching the sport on tv then out for a great 10 k walk in the afternoon, getting home just as the sun was setting, decided to treat ourselves then and ordered a great dinner which was delivered from a local restaurant/takeaway so we enjoyed that with a few glasses of red, a lovely Sunday.

That sounds amazing though i might have to snip a bit off the 10k for me and no red but consider me jealous. So rare to get a full day to feel like that, happy memories..

If only. I did find a fox dead here in the forest once. What a beautiful creature. They look better dead than I could ever look alive. : )

Even with the bald head I showed before.

I spend a lot of my time with this view, regardless of the height, there is a finite distance that we can see, and a limit to our radio/radar waves. As well as the suggestion that if our compass always had the magnetic north to the left, it was like going around the center of a record, but what about if that compass was pointing to my tail, surely I would fall off the record. So sorry guys but I’m not convinced it’s flat.

    @Grandeeod, why remove the skin?

I was surprised more people didn't gasp at removing the skin tbh!
