2 lads prop up a dead man to collect his pension at the post office.

Looking forward to this being re-enacted on next month's crime call.

Incredible, sounds more like a story from John B Keane, than a news item in 2022.

I honestly thought it said it was in Cavan and rolled my eyes and went typical Cavan lads.

But was quite disappointed when I found out my mistaken reading of the headline.

What kind of dope beings a dead man in to a post office to collect his pension?

did they not realise that once you die you’re no longer entitled to it?if they were trying to commit fraud why didn’t they leave him at home?
