Incredible, sounds more like a story from John B Keane, than a news item in 2022.

I honestly thought it said it was in Cavan and rolled my eyes and went typical Cavan lads.

But was quite disappointed when I found out my mistaken reading of the headline.

This story will surely go global once all the details come out for the absolute weirdness of it.

What kind of dope beings a dead man in to a post office to collect his pension?

did they not realise that once you die you’re no longer entitled to it?if they were trying to commit fraud why didn’t they leave him at home?

Was it Dr Nick Riviera and one of his mates.

They tried that first but were told the pensioner had to be present.
