Well the fun didn't last long.

Bobby 🎄🎄🎄 out for season with an ACL tear. OBJ will have big boots to fill. Woods did a lot more than catch passes.

They need to stop talking about super bowls and focus on week to week. No team that can't stop the run is going to a super bowl.

The Bucs lost a few before their by week last season so hopefully they sort it not and come back strong against the Pack.

The titans and 49ers just sliced through them the last couple of weeks.

Stafford needs to be a bit braver with the ball in hand and take a run now and again. He seems to always want to take on a pass that just isn't on.

A certain TD was missed in the 4th quarter if he had carried the ball, instead he threw and gave away a penalty.

    Terrible record against the 49ers.

Rams need to develop their ground offense. To balance their passing game.

    Awful quarter from the rams.

    Offence completely toothless so far.

    Another terrible performance.

Stafford is really struggling and McVay's play calling is not helping.

The defence has regressed massively from last season and I've seen fans blame Morris for this but when your offence is either score quick or three-and-out and your defence ends up playing 40 minutes per game them they are going to wear down.

Agree on mcveigh. The 4th down call in the 1st quarter was a bizarre call to say the least.

    We are in serious trouble.

Looking good today but in fairness we should be beating the jags.

Unfortunately the bears couldn't do us a favour earlier.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,931 ✭✭✭Sultan of Bling

Massive result for us with the hawks beating the 49ers.

Huge game next week v the cardinals.

    A must win.

Great action across the NFL this week.

  • Registered Users Posts: 157 ✭✭Optimus Caesar

Massive win last night. Stafford much better. Given the injuries and covid outbreak that was a huge win.

9-4 now but remaining schedule is still tough.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,931 ✭✭✭Sultan of Bling

    Indeed.

The NFC has been blown wide open for the number 1 seed.

Unbelievable performance from Donald and Beckham seems to be finding his feet in the last few weeks.

I still think the cardinals will take the division.

They have a much easier run in.

    Our run in is horrible.

Rams finally had a ground game with RB Sony Michel in the past 2 games. Not a perfect balance between pass and ground, but an improvement over this season’s games.

What a result for the rams in detroit.

    Thanks Jarrod 😁

Important win on Monday night that leaves us level with Arizona and one game being the packers for the top seed spot.

What a shame the ravens couldn't pull off the 2 point attempt at the end.

I'm still a bit concerned about Stafford and his reluctance to run with the football when no pass is on. It lead to an interception in the 1st quarter.

I expected a tight encounter and that's what we got but we got over the line all be it with a couple of generous flags.

Keeping Kupp and Donald injury free will be key now.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,931 ✭✭✭Sultan of Bling

Another unimpressive win but a win nonetheless with the cardinals seemingly imploding.

    Top of the division though.

If I was offered this 2 weeks ago, I'd have bitten your hand off.

  • Registered Users Posts: 157 ✭✭Optimus Caesar

4 wins on the bounce since no win November so it’s going “ok”. After November I didn’t think there was any hope of winning the west but that’s looking possible now.

After the hammering they gave up a few years back I fear the Ravens but given our respective records we should be somewhat confident we can go there and win. If Cardinals lose to Cowboys we could win the division this week.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,931 ✭✭✭Sultan of Bling

    What a comeback.

    QB a huge worry though.

    Come on the cowboys! !

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,931 ✭✭✭Sultan of Bling

Cowboys couldnt do us a favour unfortunately, which means we need a win over the 49ers next week to clinch the division.

The 49ers have beaten us on so many occasions. I expect the cardinals to see of the seahawks.

I've a bad feeling about it. Hope I'm wrong.

Bloody hell, talk about falling over the line.

Arizona next week, we do have a great record against them so I'm confident of the win.

Can see us going much further though unless there is an upset or two next week.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,931 ✭✭✭Sultan of Bling

Shoul read can't see us going much further

  • Registered Users Posts: 157 ✭✭Optimus Caesar

I can. I could see us beating the Bucs (if Niners beat Dallas).

We could beat Packers too if Stafford tightened his **** up.

  • Registered Users Posts: 157 ✭✭Optimus Caesar

    Well worth staying up for.

    On to Tampa!!!

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,931 ✭✭✭Sultan of Bling

A brilliant performance and we now have a back up quarterback in Odell Beckham 😁

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,931 ✭✭✭Sultan of Bling

  • Registered Users Posts: 157 ✭✭Optimus Caesar

Yeah much better time next Sunday.

Should be a good game. We match up well against the Bucs.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,931 ✭✭✭Sultan of Bling

So a win tonight will mean a home game next week.

Just hate playing the 49ers though!!

Even though I wasn't overly shocked with their win over the packets.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,931 ✭✭✭Sultan of Bling

    Wow!!!

    What just happened?

Now I know why I've no hair.

We are mixing the sublime with the ridiculous.

It's all about Kupp, Donald and a mecurial number 3

Made harder work of it than we should have but that guy Brady just never knows when he is beaten.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,931 ✭✭✭Sultan of Bling

    So many missed opportunities.

I fear we may regret them.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,931 ✭✭✭Sultan of Bling

The referee doing us no favours

Congrats to the Rams, well deserved.

I thought they moved the ball well, should have scored more 1st half. Stopped the 49ers run game and Kupp and Beckham came through big time.

  • Registered Users Posts: 157 ✭✭Optimus Caesar

    Thanks... was a tense night.

We were the better team and left some points behind us... but I guess thats playoff football.

Beckham had a huge gamer and Kupp was Kupp. Stafford was excellent too. Their O-line was pretty good to keep our boys quiet until the 4th quarter.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,931 ✭✭✭Sultan of Bling

Probably one of our best performances of the season.

The defence was outstanding against the 49ers running game which was great to see as we struggled during the regular season in that department.

Great to see Stafford being more assured with the football and taking a run every now and again.

Hopefully Higbee injury is not as serious as it looked.

I suppose on paper we are now massive favourites especially as we are playing at home.

Hopefully they'll keep their feet on the ground because nothing has been won yet and as we've seen the last couple of weeks you undestimate the Bengals at your peril.

Rams in the Super Bowl. Who would have thunk this at season beginning? Hurrays in part to Cooper Kupp. #10 wide receiver. It seems like all the years he has been playing came together in 2021 season and 2022 playoff.

Since I became a Rams fan last night. The last 24 hours have been a proverbial ROLLERCOSTER.

Cant wait to see what the next couple of weeks brings

    Not looking good for Higbee.

    Not training all week.

My nerves are seriously on edge. Really hope Jared Goff proves the doubters wrong

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,931 ✭✭✭Sultan of Bling

    It could be worse.

We could have Matthew Stafford as QB.

Did you see how bad the lions were this year?

  • Registered Users Posts: 157 ✭✭Optimus Caesar

Great to see coach Vermeil inducted in to the hall of fame.

Disappointing for Holt but his time will come.

Kupp fully deserving of the Offensive player of the year award. Its utterly ridiculous that his season wasn't shown more love in MVP voting. Rodgers and Brady had fine seasons, Kupp's was historic.

Also fair play to big Whit on the Walter Payton man of the year award. Big Whit is an exceptional human being.

It's been a great season for the Rams. Let hope they top it off on Sunday night.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,931 ✭✭✭Sultan of Bling

Just over 4 hours to go.

I was so confident the last two weeks. Now I'm less so.

    My nerves!!!!

Just when we looked in control, it all changes.

Huge loss if Beckham is out of the game.

Stafford has been superb so far.

Let's hope that missed extra point doesn't come back to haunt us.

Super Bowl was grand. Even the last 2 minutes of 4Q was exciting. Rams won with a goal- line-like defense on their 49 yard line as the seconds ticked away.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,931 ✭✭✭Sultan of Bling

Wow, at one stage in the second quarter I thought we might run away with it.

At the end I don't know how we won it.

Kupp and Stafford, what can you say?

We did get lucky on the holding call to give us an extra set of downs for the winning TD but it cancelled out the Bengals TD at the start of the 3rd quarter which should have been called back.

Two big monents for the rams was the 4th down conversion obviously, by our best running back of the night in Cooper Kupp 😜. and also keeping the Bengals to a FG after the interception in the rams 1st offensive play after the Bengals TD at the start of the 3rd.

Thankfully the extra point miss didn't cost us.

This was one of the best NFL seasons I can remember in my 27 years watching the sport.

Leaving aside the rams win, there was so many exciting finishes and games decided on the final play and also so many teams in contention for the playoffs in the final week.

Enjoy the off season my fellow rams brothers and sisters and see you all back here next year for the back to back 😜

Well after a day for the dust to settle and a rest, that was a tense night.

What can you say about Stafford. Amazing performance and should have been MVP. He's down Higbee, down Beckham Jr., down Woods. They know that he only has one guy he can trust and they know he can only pass it to Kupp and he still gets it done. Astonishing performance by Stafford. Kupp was also great on that last drive - especially on the 4th down run - but Stafford was the man for me.

Injuries nearly derailed us. If Beckham remains healthy I think we win that game comfortably. He was having no issues getting open.

I've seen "fans" moan about the soft holding call on 3rd down near the end and while I don't like that they let stuff like that go all game and then start calling it after the 2 minute warning, after the missed face mask on Ramsey for their TD to open the 3rd quarter I don't care. If that missed call had decided it, I've have been pissed.

I too have been a fan since the mid 90s so I've seen some good and lots of bad years. I didn't really appreciate the 99/2000 super bowl win as I expected a few more to follow. I'm sure gonna savour this one.
