The snakes missed a penalty only a few minutes before as well

It ends 2-2. That game was great fun. Commentator said there were 42 attempts on goal.

Rome derby not going well for Jose. Lazio leading 2-0 inside twenty minutes. Pedro scores against his old side.

Lifeline for Roma as Ibanez scores before half-time.

3-1 Lazio thanks to Felipe Anderson. Immobile was unselfish there.

3-2 thanks to Veretout from the spot. I don't think that pen should have been given though.

All over and Sarri wins the battle of the ex-Chelsea coaches. Still can't believe Roma got that penalty and that the ref didn't take a look at it. Didn't matter in the end.

Juve win the Turin derby thanks to Locatelli's late goal. Think they were worthy of the win. Torino better in the first half but Juve finished the stronger side.

Sassuolo vs Inter in the late game should be good.

Sassuolo deservedly lead against Inter via Berardi's penalty. Barella poor in giving the ball away cheaply. Nice work from Boga winning it off Skriniar.

Handanovic lucky not to get a straight red before half-time for clashing with Defrel. Looked like he caught him with the elbow. Think the ref bottled that one.

1-1. Dzeko equalises seconds after coming on. Inzaghi made a quadruple change which I don't think I've seen before, at least in a club game.

2-1. Inter turn it around from the spot through Lautaro after a clumsy challenge by Consigli on Dzeko. Sassuolo not happy that their keeper was punished for a foul and Handanovic got away with it. Think they have a point.

Full-time. Inter win 2-1. Credit to Inzaghi as his subs changed the game. Think Handanovic should have walked in the 1st half all the same.

This is cool. Sampdoria honoured Liam Brady ahead of their recent 3-3 draw with Udinese.

Even if he plays for the hunchbacks, I like him. He comes to Italy and learn the language. Also very genuine player

Eh, big club gets soft decision. Inter more bent than Juventus

Inter leading Lazio 1-0 from Perisic's penalty on Inzaghi's return to Rome. Hope to see a few goals in this one.

1-1. Another pen sees Immobile equalise. 25 minutes to go.

Inter going crazy after Lazio didn't put the ball out of play for Dimarco going down. Anderson scores to turn it around and make it 2-1.

Didn't see inter put the ball out when lazio player was down

Milinkovic-Savic header makes it 3-1. Going to be a first loss of the season for Inter.

Verona 2-0 up in the San Siro.

For some reason though I'm more annoyed that Milan are wearing a black away strip at home than losing at home

That jersey is horrific, I thought the mock ups were bad but it looks even worse when they're playing in it.

They will be very pleased to get the three points after been 2-0 down but they were fortunate. Questionable penalty for the equaliser and the winner was a poor own goal.

Saw the highlights and that own goal cracked me up.

Keen to see if Napoli can bo back top tomorrow. The evening game between Juve and Roma looks tasty too. McGregor met Mourinho in Rome a few days ago.

The winner was a shocker but the penalty was a bit of a stupid clatter from the defender same as the Verona penalty. Rash defending on both counts.

As for the jersey it looks like pajamas and there should be rules against not wearing home at home

Two good games yesterday. Lazio really are a topsy turvy team. Looking forward to the hunchbacks vs Roma after. Fancy a draw in it.

I've had half an eye on this Napoli/Torino game. Insigne denied by Torino keeper Milkinkovic-Savic from the spot - been a good weekend for that family. Napoli should take Insigne off pens.

1-0 Napoli. Great header from Osimhen who has been their best player.

Full-time. Napoli go back top and keep their 100 per cent record intact.

Tiniest gap starting to grow now between the top 2and the rest. Both sides seem able to get through the banana skins a bit better than the rest too

Napoli will be winter champions and then fall apart second half of the season.

Juve lead against Roma. Bit of a jammy one from Kean.

Szczesny redeems himself, saving Veretout's pen which he gave away. Thought Abraham was going to take it.

Poor penalty in fairness. Also does anyone know why it was a penalty rather than advantage played as Abraham had stuck it in the net

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,643 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Nice Guy

The ref seemed to blow quite early.

Full-time. Big result for Juve. Going to be a huge game next weekend when they face Inter.

Juve 1-0 down at home to Sassuolo. If it stays like this, they will be 13 points behind leaders Milan. Dybala went close by hitting the post but they haven't looked too confident in front of goal. Big improvement needed in the second half.

Atalanta have come from behind to lead Samp 2-1 in the other game.

The Federal Prosecutor has opened an investigation into a number of soccer player transfers in Serie A, an Italian Football Federation official told Reuters.

A report by the COVISOC [the Supervisory Commission for Serie A clubs] into player trading activity has been carried out and been submitted to the Federal Prosecutor, who has opened an investigation.

Two Italian newspapers, La Repubblica and Il Tempo, said that the report has looked into 62 player transfers that took place between 2019 and 2021.

Capital gains through exchange deals have been discussed in Italy in recent years, due to the difficulty of establishing a precise market value for players who are included in swap deals.

According to Italian media reports, the Federal Prosecutor is investigating the possibility of inflated valuations to help clubs balance their books.

It is alleged that Juventus' transfer activity is being scrutinised more than most, with Gazzetta dello Sport claiming 42 of the deals being looked into involve Serie A's most successful team.

Reports of transfer dealings under review in Italy.

Juve equalise through a great McKennie header. Ten minutes or so to go and I can see Juve going on to win this.

2-1 Sassuolo! Juve caught out going for the winner and Maxime Lopez with a lovely dinked finish.

All over. That was the last kick of the game. Big shock result.

Last kick of the game! Very nice breakaway goal for Sassuolo, first ever away win v Juve.

And a last kick of the game goal for Atalanta aswell, winning 1-3.

It's been going on for years. Juve and the Milan's used swap minor squad players like they were panini stickers basically to launder money
