Hey Bazz, would you recommend these guys to take a look at lacquer damage on wheels? Rims are perfect, but there’s some lacquer damage after tyre changes .
    Cheers

These lads done a wheel on my mothers jeep when she was pushed into a ditch by a tractor down in Kerry. fantastic job. That was 3 years ago and not a sign of any peel or anything on it. The fitted the new tyre and all for me.

i can see there been a major crash with the incompedent way they have layed out the cones for roadworks from ballykeefe roundabout to crescent. one lane blocked off but still 2 lines coming out of the crescent & no sign saying one lane closed.. you wont be able to come out of kilteragh & turn right cause all the cars will have the road blocked black along from trying to turn right into the crescent. Its going to be a nightmare there

Jesus this new site is awful on mobile. Takes about 10 clicks to get here 😂.

Anyone in town yesterday what was the story with the abundance of the tango brigade was there something on?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,661 ✭✭✭JamesBond2010

The new site design is crap loads of people were saying it, not really mobile friendly.

The tanning saloons were back open, topping up their tan before they go on holidays love😉😂

The Bus Eireann website is a disaster. Looking for PDFs for both bus 301 and bus 302.

    I'm using Android.

The website is awful and often out of date. Try the TFI Real Time Ireland app it's what I use and it's way better for getting round

Are'nt most of the buses now tfi ireland like the ennis to limerick type services

you have to go to each thread to see if it had been updated where as before it would show the number in top corner & go to that thread then. now u have to go 6 steps back top go one foward

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 35,257 ✭✭✭✭breezy1985

I don't think it really matters whether a bus is TFI or Bus Eireann in any practical sense but I could be wrong

why does actual clothes size vary in different companies in Tshirts large/xlarge some of the large u could use a a sail while others then you can barely around you shoulders. be grand if there was a common eu large, i know U.S. will be always different.

What I find crazy is when clothes are sold in measurement sizes, like a 36in waist or a 17in collar, and there's a difference between companies. It's a defined system of measurement, how can they fit different?!?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,661 ✭✭✭JamesBond2010

exactly like work uniforms as well. how is there such a difference in sizes.

any motor factors mix paint? (don't think halfords do it anymore)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 26,215 ✭✭✭✭Berty

Autozone/PR Reilly now Euro Car Parts in Eastway/Ballysimon certainly used to mix paint. I don't know these days though. Can always ask them I guess.

Unit F1, Eastway Business Park, Ballysimon Rd

    Telephone

Or you could be nice to a local body shop like Slaters or someplace and ask them where they get their paint from?

Top Part Mungret. They have a full mixing room off the main shop floor and mix to OE standard.

Right, so I just went to my parents hose and collected some letters, one of which was a summons for court tomorrow morning 🤦‍♂️

Basically, I was doing my car tax, so took my insurance disc off the car and forgot to put it back on. I was stopped, asked to produce it at henry street, which I did, but this was never logged, so now I’m in court.

    1. Does anyone have a similar experience, if yes, how did it go?
    2. Can anyone recommend a solicitor?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,661 ✭✭✭JamesBond2010

wonder if u had a dash camera & it showed you stopping outside henry street & u had the date & time they might be able to work out who was on window duty . You can also explain to the judge that you did produce but it was never logged, heards of cases like that before that the guard never logged it althought they produced licence/ insurance /nct.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 610 ✭✭✭mdmix

so I called into Henry street and they said this kind of thing unfortunately happens. Gard on duty said just bring the proof of insurance and explain I did produce it when called. No need for a solicitor as I was insured. The case should be struck out. 🤞

Best of luck with it, I'm sure it will be fine although very annoying to have to attend for this reason.
