Can’t for the life of me figure out how to create a Poll on this new disaster of a site. It was a challenge in itself to even get to this point.

like or agree with this post if you dislike the new layout or if somebody with a degree in IT can figure out how to create a poll, please do.

Missing the direct/short cut link to the forums I follow. Have to keep going back to the Main page and going from there.

Ignore is still there but you have to click on the posters profile and then find it from there. No shortcut like before.

I hate the fact that the thread path isn't part of the banner that remains at the top of the page as you scroll down a thread. Have to scroll to the top of the page every time to return to the parent forum.

Not usually one to go out of my way to criticise but I'm really struggling to get to grips with it this morning.

I was looking forward to it coming back but everything seems quite disjointed. Tried the mobile first but couldn't find any threads I follow and it seemed very busy which frustrated me so left for the laptop. It's more of an improvement albeit I'm still finding it difficult to navigate.

Is it me or is the site slower?

Will come back later and see if there are improvements, can't imagine everything will be perfect straight off the bat tbf.

its not great but then I told them that when they siad they were copying the talk to forums format as part of the move. it is slightly better than that but a massive step backwards from what it was...

They've done a cheap job...now they'll wait for all the users to point out what's wrong with the site and then they'll fix those issues....so they are getting the users to snag their work so saving money.

Correct, this awful bright skin hurts my eyes, plus it has the prevalent UX approach of making a site look like it was designed for a nursery school.

Double spacing when hitting return.

When you quote a post there's a big white gap at the top of the post.

I noticed some psots in the Limerick category and the date last posted is incorrect on the main page. They're listed towards the top (but not a Sticky) and above ones with a more recent date last posted, so that part is working correctly but the date last posted for those posts are incorrect

Forum topics don't drop down when you mouse over the top menu. You have to click on them.

I'm impressed with how close to the old Boards that they've managed to get it, can't have been easy on a new platform.

Some stuff I've noticed so far

Performance is much worse than old boards (much longer to open a post, go to next page, etc)
If I'm in the 'My Threads' tab, and refresh, I'm taken to the 'Latest Posts' tab

I had thought the Little button to "View first unread post in this thread" wasn't working, but it's just that the new site takes you to the first post by default, but later remembers where you were, so that's all ok.

Is there an option to mark a forum as read? The little envelope next to the forum name says no new posts but when you look in a forum they are all new.

Excuses will abound, lots of three letter anagrams and mention of "20 years of posts". Site is a shambles and it will take weeks and weeks fix the issues. Roll it back now lads this is a mess. I am sure lots of people worked hard on this, but its not working out.
