Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Pretty dejected in that message, "if it is for that turn 4 what does the guy expect when ge goes out wide?"

I'm with Di Resta and I want to see hard racing, you take that chance you've got to be prepared for it not working. Not all tracks are going to have a nice run off area to soften the blow.

Ricciardo doing a good job here

It's like they don't want the drivers to overtake at all, just drive around in a procession.

I just can't listen to Di Resta and his "mee-jum" tyre and "he's went" and "he's saw".

    Anyway, back to the race...

I’m surprised that Max has not pitted yet. Fantastic drive by him so far, in a class of his own.

I noticed that they did not show his pit stop time. They did the same last week.

Lewis knows that is P2 now unless Max has a failure or his rain dance works.

"How is he so far ahead"

and a likeable guy to go with it, would be great if he could somehow catch Bottas but I think it is asking a bit too much.

    Fingers crossed!
The gap is fairly constant at around 3 seconds.

    Penalty for Checo?

Max has extended the gap to almost 17 seconds

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,369 ✭✭✭Rossi IRL

Guessing that's a 5 second penalty for Perez now

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,499 ✭✭✭Sabre0001

Is that not the same incident if not worse?

    🤪

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,338 ✭✭✭✭Itssoeasy

So Perez should get a penalty then if there is consistency.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,638 ✭✭✭deafroadrunner

Perez will have to get a peno for that

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,010 ✭✭✭PsychoPete

    Bottas to overtake Hamilton? Sure..

    And he gets a penalty.

Shockingly enough they are consistent and Perez gets a 5 second penalty

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,338 ✭✭✭✭Itssoeasy

While I don’t think either incident was a penalty, at least there’s consistency. I suppose that’s something.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,990 ✭✭✭Cool_CM

    Quick penalty there

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,250 ✭✭✭✭flazio

Stewards backed themselves into a corner there.

It's more a penalty than landos anyways

Easy way to deal with the majority thinking the first one was not a penalty and maybe a bit of regret.

Bonus that it was Perez involved, the Steward will be delighted - that is just my opinion for entertainment purposes only.

Yeah basically. The stewards had set their stall out with the Lando penalty so they had to give Perez a penalty.

If Lewis does have a problem like they were saying on the radio, it would be foolish not to?

Norris would be on the pair of them then.

Pity Lando had that 5 second penalty, he'd be right up there with the Mercs
