Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Silly to put a full SC for that...and right beside a gap in the track. VS would have been fine.

That was a great move by Schumacher on Ocon all the same

Safety car for that? And out immediately, not like when Max was all over the start finish straight in Baku. Jesus do they just make the standards up as they go along or what. I miss Charlie Whiting

Well the track isn’t that long so it’s not so much of them making up standards.

A stinker of a weekend for Ocon. Hopefully the last two races before the season break go better for him.

PER was asking for that in fairness

    Perez went a bit wide.

Norris isn't rolling over for anyone

    Foolish from Perez there

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,008 ✭✭✭PsychoPete

Checo should really have backed out of that one

"Perez drops to p10 just follow Hamilton through Norris"

Merc think they will get clear of Norris , even confidence in Bottas

  • Registered Users Posts: 14,648 ✭✭✭✭skipper_G

Around the outside there is always risky, Perez took the risk and he didn't work. Now he's stuck in the pack, Mercs are on for the double podium but Max to walk the win

    Come on Lando.

I'm thinking the same, one more angle to see if they had one from the front.

Perez was pretty punchy from the restart but that was foolish.

I still see PER climbing back and finishing ahead of BOT

He is pretty far back and behind the second McClaren, it is quite a gap.

Lando not having DRS will be the difference here, but he is putting up a good fight.

    It's a race for 2nd now

Bottas demonstrates again why he doesn't deserve his seat. Time to get a proper driver in that car.

They are investigating the Norris and Perez incident

Norris and Perez are under investigation for that incident.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,268 ✭✭✭✭MadYaker

Why? If Lando gets a penalty for that and Leclerc got nothing last week that is outrageous

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,369 ✭✭✭Rossi IRL

Even Horner said it was a racing incident

Different strategy he's on in fairness

Redbull won't have planned for Perez to be racing a Ferrari Today. According to his radio Perez is going long.

LeClerc has absolutely done Checo there. Knew exactly what was going to happen.

Probably penalize Norris to help out the Mercs

Nice move from Leclerc on Perez

That has to be a racing incident - Perez took the risk and it didn't pay off for him.

I wonder have they changed it based on his lack of pace, there was a radio message earlier telling him to stick with Hamilton and pass Norris.

I know Hamilton hasn't passed Norris but Bottas has gone backwards - is it all preserving tyre pace?
