I feel like that 'payback' remark from Horner is going to come back and bite him in the arse at some stage.

Bottas will be absolutely fuming after this race
What's Mercedes' reason for not pitting Bottas once he was overtaken? "**** him!"? Jesus.

As if bottas was in any doubt that Mercedes don’t care about him this is more proof. They left him on tyres that were shot and look what happened. Bottas has ever right to be royally pissed off.

Why didn't Bottas go for fastest lap?

Bonkers. He was 50 seconds ahead of Norris. They screwed Bottas again with strategy.

Perez would have also pitted and gone for the fastest lap. No point really.

Another great drive and a podium for 'average' Perez :pac:

Why. It’s fantastic to see Max beat him. Particularly brilliant that it was so late on. An interesting race for the first time in a while.

They screwed both drivers with a lack of strategy today.

After the first stop, Hamilton said to make sure he was first to pit next time. Red bull then caught them out again and pitted first.

What a race! Bottas being used as a sacrificial lamb to attempt to hold up verstappen despite telling engineers 20+ laps ago his tyres won't last, I doubt he will even want to stay there next year now.

Some result for mclaren in the constructors and a nightmare day for ferrari who both finish out of the points.

Props to stroll, 19th to 10th, boat astons notching points.

Two races in the next 14 days

    Lovely stuff

Red Bull look a very united team.

Lots of love for both drivers there.

Congrats to max and red bull. What a championship season this year is. Fantastic

Shït's just got real now for the season. Well done Max. Poor again by Merc. They apologised to Lewis after the race. I hope they did likewise to Bottas.

Looking forward to Zandvoort and the Oranje Army.

This track is only boring if there's one team well ahead of the rest. No borefest when things are so tight. Something to watch this year which is great.

Hamilton was quite humble in the interview. Fair play.

Aye Merc threw that one away completely, they should apologise to Hamilton and Bottas.

That's not why it's sad, in fact I agree with everything you just said

It's the fact that after all of that, the first thing you do is laugh at Hamilton. That's sad.

To the surprise of nobody who actually pays attention rather than pulling nonsense out of their arse.

He was (not so sure he will be off camera and rightly so), I'd rather see Max win this championship myself - but given how things are going, If Lewis does manage to win it he will have earned it (unlike some opinions on his previous ones).

    Love those tactical battles.

Those strategists are worth every single penny that they earn.

Can’t stand him. So yes, delighted he was bested today.

For what it’s worth I think he’ll still win the championship unfortunately.

What a superb championship we have going on. Both titles are going to go right down to the wire I think.

Hamilton raced superbly but merc had an absolute mare and while they should have listened to Bottas; bottas had to do a better job in defending from versteppen

No no, I'll stick to the facts, thanks.

Someone else tried that shtick a few weeks ago after Monaco and they haven't actually been seen around here since such as how far back in their box they were put.
