Bottas will be absolutely fuming after this race

He’s been fuming during the race.

Alright max now is the time.

Hamilton lost half a second at the chicane and no-one noticed. Another hfew tenths in the next few corners, cliff might have been reached.

No doubt he is going to get one shot at it, will it happen though.

Max has found some more pace now. Just under 3s the gap now.

If Hamilton pulls this off it will be incredible.

Is it? I think Red Bull messed this up more than this incredible from Hamilton. Nearly all the cars are out on the hards and still getting decent performance from them. Red Bull thought they were falling off more than they did

Verstappen gets within a second at the worst possible spot.

Mercedes lost themselves this race with their lack of pit stop calls

Yes but it’s now looking better for max.
He is a phenomenal driver, if anyone can do it Max can.

    As we all say

Paul Richard always delivers great races

    Thank **** for that. :D

Coverage poor again though, 8 tenths behind and they stop showing the gap through the few corners before the DRS zone.

Sweet, I was wrong (ish). Still think waiting 2/3 more laps would have been ideal though.

What's Mercedes' reason for not pitting Bottas once he was overtaken? "**** him!"? Jesus.

Brilliant from the entire Red Bull team. What an absorbing race!

Horrendous race from Ferrari. No points.

Was there even a yellow flag throughout the whole race?

Great race, Ussually a borefest and that was great.

Ya can say what you want about Pirelli but these tires are so much better than a tyre war.

Why didn't Bottas go for fastest lap?

  • Registered Users Posts: 13,791 ✭✭✭✭ctrl-alt-delete

That was a great race for Redbull. Their strategy was spot on - when they pulled the trigger for that second stop for Max it forced the Mercs to stay out given the power of the undercut.

    Massive momentum now.

1st and 3rd versus second for the constructors, plus the fastest lap for Max.

Did Perez run wide completing the pass?

Maybe why Bottas didn’t put in case he gets a time penalty
