Def looks like it. At least next time clean up after the visit.

Down to 70 in hospital and this is where you at at. ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜

At where exactly? - you mean pointing out the hysteria going on here?

Eh? Its an article about the active situation in the UK and makes no reference to Ireland whatsoever

Really really difficult to see the need for constant wailing and moaning over every possible news article- even where it has little relevance

The scenes of the past few weeks largely stemmed from the ludicrous tolerance of takeaway pints and the guards frustrating reluctance to enforce the law against drinking on the street.

I really couldn't hold the vintners and publicans in any lower esteem since this pandemic. Whatever it takes to sell a few pints. **** public health and peoples safety. Shame on them.

No need for tracing at all outdoors at a pub with everybody seated.

Certainly much safer than the current situation of large crowds standing outside and no controls at all.

    Tony is incompetent.

Off chasing the bogeyman again. Who decided the timing of individual restrictions being lifted again?

Probably first sensible post of yours on this thread. Thank you.

    Good for you.

To be fair, 99% of people are behaving, in Dublin it looks like little inner city knackers are showing up, as per usual, and causing trouble. They're not even old enough to drink. It's not the people buying takeaway pints who are being rowdy.

So let people go wherever they want, when they want, in our free country.

They can that's the point. When there was a 5 km limit - there was endless moaning that people were being all made to congregate together.

That was removed and now we have crowds of people all congregating together

And its still all Tony's fault

There's a lot of piss taking going on atm ..

The people causing the problems are not being served pints. They are the same kids pushing people under darts in Howth and having mass brawls in Donabate - little angles.

Edit: as an aside, the vintners association are indeed a bunch of absolute gowls.

Agreed. I dont blame the people. And scrotes will be scrotes, there will always be that element.

Unscrupulous, unfettered publicans along with **** policing is the root of the problem.

Some people simply refuse to use the brain for thinking. It's way easier to cause some stupid shìt and complain after it's government's fault, mystical Tony's fault, cop's fault.

At the end of the second video is a crucial point you make. What happened at the start of the second video? Did he throw a dig and run? Then freeze up when hit as he ran away? Was he arrested?

All I really see in the video is a bunch of young people, who wouldn't get served in the pubs normally. Every day in town now, gangs of lads on electric scooters, tanks of nitrous oxide, inhaling balloons, knocking back drink, and acting like it's paddy's day.

This isn't a covid issue, it's a public order issue. I was able to pint away all afternoon in the Green, as was everyone else, no guards bothered anyone. Then a girl got bottled and it was time to close the park.

Unfortunately, I had to go, because of the out of control amount of scum that had congregated. And they were as entitled to congregate there as I was, as they should be, but then they got rowdy and dangerous.

People want guards to intervene, they intervened. But then when they did intervene, there was moaning. I didn't really get it myself. People have to understand its one or the other. I understood I had had a good day, and in all reality, it was time to go anyway.

If only there was a place people could go to socialise and drink, in a controlled environment, with trained staff that monitor the crowd and step in if anyone got out of line.

You know, without having the baton charge the entire crowd and shut off the whole surrounding area.

There was a name for such places..

Just to be clear, I'm not backing up government etc., just saying some people are brain-dead clowns and it's easier to blame someone else for their actions.

Like all those ringing radio stations and posting on social media about healthy people living their lives?

Took a three month hiatus from posting on here, check it this morning out of curiosity and I see the same pathetic, curtain-twitching attitude from the same people.

I see some people still haven't grasped the human nature embedded in the youth of the country and instead prefer to lambast them for doing what they've been restricted from doing for 15 months while the rest of the world gets on with it.

They see tens of thousands of people packed into stadiums for UFC events, champions league, etc. Worldwide, and a few hundred people condensed into a street is a cardinal sin? Holy mother of god, get a grip and stop being bottom feeders.

And don't give me the 'b b b but look at Christmas' - you mean 6 months ago when we didn't have all the vulnerable vaccinated? Go back to your hole.

I'm not even sure what you're referring to, who's failing to take responsibility? Me? The early 20s/late teens having an outdoors summer? The guards?

Takeaway pints aren’t causing the antisocial behaviour. Drugs and cheapest available alcohol are - same as before Covid.

Garda have been reasonably impressive overall. Really don’t envy them having to police some of the more ridiculous restrictions, and taking relentless phonecalls from citizens scared of catching the virus over the garden fence.

Is this behaviour a danger to public health? I don’t believe it is, maybe public safety but then that’s not a Covid issue.

You realise the vast majority in every picture and video have bags of cans ?

Tell me what publican is serving cans in a spar bag ? Perhaps it might be the spar around the corner from South William Street, just a guess now.

You just seem to have an issue with publicans in general, it's been corrected multiple times when you've brought this up before that publicans aren't serving bags of cans

I find them more obtuse than acute.
