That Fiesta is incredible looking, looks like it just rolled off the forecourt.

Thank you. Its a time warp alright. Its a very low mileage original car.

The interior is even more impressive IMHO. Totally original except for the steering wheel which I covered. (I still have an uncovered original one too)

That fiesta is one of my favourite versions style wise. Lovely car and nostalgia on 4 wheels. Alot of the fords in the 1980s felt a 1000 years more modern than their 70s counterparts like the cortina, mrk 2 escorts, capris etc. That fiesta still looks relatively modern today. Lovely so see everyday 1980s cars still going around, not just high performance models.

After 12 years with my e46, it’s time for something new

Yup. Nice choice. Stunning stunning car.

The interior is certainly going to be like marmite to some people. Personally I love it though, really contrasts well with the space grey

Love that colour, great contrast with the black colours and tyres.

Moleyv, that's one nice bus, love the colour, I see she has the open/close auto vents.....

    What's under the hood

I think this 25 year old design has aged well, this one is currently 18 years young - even some cyclists shouted at it for the right reasons yerseday morning!

Cheers. Just a 218d. First diesel, first auto. It’s a nice place to be on long journeys.

The day I was ordering I switched to Storm Bay over the regular grey, delighted with the choice. The colour has a blue tint to it in the shade, and is lighter on a bright day.

Is it me or are those front brakes massive for an 18d?

Nice car I really like paint that looks different depending on the day

Twin pot calipers and dual exit exhaust on the smallest diesel available is a bit unusual but I guess it's part of the M Sport package?
    Regardless, it looks great.

The wheels, brakes, black bits, spoiler and HK stereo were part of the M Sport Pro pack. I didn’t order the pack for the brakes but welcome nonetheless.

Almost a year since I picked this up. Warranty expires next month and debating whether to extend it or not. Never had an ounce of trouble owning a bmw yet so I think ill take my chances rather than forking out close to a grand to extend the warranty by 12 months.

Yeah it's a tough call on the warranty.

I would probably be tempted to buy it. Won't take much to go wrong to give you a bill of a grand on one of them.

First wash since I've had a big paint correction and detail job done a few weeks ago.

Yeah, treated it to a wash first thing this morning. There were about a million dead flies on the front over the last couple of days.

Very nice. How are you finding the charging infrastructure in general? Do you have a fast charger at home?

How does it compare to similar ICE cars you have driven.

Charging is okay in east of country but need some more options in the west/south west.

Pervious car was Porsche Panamera – I like this better.

I managed to get permission from my management company to get a 7.2 kW charger installed in my underground car parking space. A rare success and something that makes EV ownership for an apartment dweller much more appealing.
