It's funny how that styling was a little left of field at the time and now its almost conservative compared to some of todays offerings. A new roof, must have been quite the fault? Great looking car.

Funnily enough I still think it looks slightly off in most pictures. Much better in person. I noticed some stitching had started to fray on both sides in roughly the same area. Figured something was been stretched while in operation and I was right. Mine was an early build and they slightly changed the design after.

Gorge car and bloody lovely part of the world too.

Rejoice in the awareness of feeling stupid, for that’s how you end up learning new things. If you’re not aware you’re stupid, you probably are.

New to me this week. Tesla Model S 90D. Pics just after a full valet :D

Lovely - Would really like one of them. Best of luck with it.

I would sack your guy that did the "full valet" though. The inside of those wheel arches are shocking.

First sunrise spin of the season over the weekend. Cold but magic.

My daily work machine, owner for almost 3 years. Most reliable so far for me, out of all cars I had. Nothing fancy, but does the job. C220 CDI, my first diesel ever :D

Got an incredibly rare roadbox delivered from Holland by Slampi last night. Fitted it to the car this morning. Basically you remove the rear seats and add a big box for luggage. Improves the look greatly.

Spent a bit of time detailling the car this evening, it has not had a wash since last summer. I really like how it cleans up.

Did the same yesterday! Autoglym foam cannon + carpro reset did the job... mighty fun too blasting it with the foam. In for a repair job on the alloys this week and should be good as gold.

Yeah it is, it's basically a road going track car, engine is fairly heavily modified too!

Another one of my usual haunts for photos, the main haunt will take a while to get to. Nice to be able to drive this about a bit more :)

The S60 is still a fresh design IMO. the body line that extends back and through to the tail lights is a fantastic bit of styling.

They'll be a damn sight worse when the microchip shortage filters down to the mass manufacturers even as factory production capacity increases post Covid.

Popular models could well go to 6 months lead.

Update earlier in the week and Passat lead time has gone to 26 weeks.

Seems vans are particularly badly hit - if its not in stock now its September / October at least for Ford and VW commercials.
