To make the forum a little easier to use, all notices of upcoming competitions should be posted in this thread (if your club or association is running a match, please don't wait for a moderator to post in here, post yourself - the earlier notice goes up, the more likely you are to get entrants...)

We (the mods) will transfer them to the This Weekend's Events thread as they come up, and transfer the posts out into the forum at large to start their own threads (or to merge them into preexisting threads) after the match (generally I try to go through this thread and the This Weekend's Events thread on monday mornings).

Since these posts go on to start threads, and we want to keep the posts and threads consistent and easy to search through, there's a rule for this thread:
Please enter the post title in the following format:
[ Month Day ] Competition Title

For example, [March 15] UCESSA Summer Rifle Leagues

The next Bullseye 360 competition is scheduled for Sunday, September 17th, 2017.

This is an open comp, and includes any sights, action, caliber, etc. As a Bullseye and Match comp there is no rests or supports of any type. This includes slings, rests, bags, bipods, sticks, etc. Nothing.

Simply sign in at the main reception desk, pay your entry fee, collect your score card and proceed to the appropriate range. Simples.

Pistol comp will be begin at 10:30 sharp, and Rifle comp begins at 13:30.

The range shuts for lunch each day between 12:45 to 13:30

The shoots will be broken up into a four different disciplines. They are:
    • Centrefire Pistol Bullseye
    • Rimfire Pistol Bullseye
    • Rifle, Short Course
    • Rifle Long Course

You may enter as many of the disciplines as you like, as often as you like. This is an open competition meaning all are welcome. There are no restrictions on the caliber or type of gun you use. A ranking system being worked on last year will hopefully be introduced towards the start of this year. It will take effect when enough shoots have been completed to properly place each competitor in their appropriate class. These are:

Any chance that this thread can be revived, as trying to sort through FB, without missing any announcements, is a pain unless you are sure that you are a member of every club and range

If you can do the job, do it. If you can't do the job, just teach it. If you really suck at it, just become a union executive or politician.
