Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Protesters have broken into Old Trafford and are protesting on the pitch. Game will likely be delayed. Worse case scenario it gets called off.

I blame gary neville the mad rebel

As a non Kane owner, could the Spurs fans be given a little encouragement to copy.

Fantastic; Bamford and Struijk for Salah and Bruno...

Match will almost certainly be delayed by an hour imo. And a high probability of being called off.

    BREAKING

4pm meeting with Manchester United, Liverpool and Premier League officials.

    6:30pm "aspirational" kick off time.

Azpi and Holding owner here, why even bother!

Reports saying the stewards will have to do an entire sweep of the stadium for weapons as security has been breached. It will take them at least an hour and a half.

Though this isnt Uniteds fault Id say the PL will hit them with a sizable fine. Sky and other broadcasters will be fuming too, this fixture has an average global audience of around 700 million people some of now who will now tune out as it'll be past midnight in Asia by the time it kicks off, if at all.

Scenes on here if the game did get postponed to another GW - although I think that is unlikely at this stage

Fans outside seem determined to stop the game going ahead. Getting the team buses to the ground is the challenge now.

IF the came was postponed, when could it be played?

Is there a precedent for the game getting postponed to another gameweek, like have the FPL done this before with postponed fixtures? I would have thought the fairest thing to do is just include it in this gameweeks points when it does get played but not sure what the FPL have done in the past

edit- just read a report that there is a corner flag now doing a tour around Manchester, straight out of Father Ted!

There's not many available slots with the Europa League games. Today or Tomorrow are the only really available slots. Can't have it after GW38.

Well for covid they were played in a different GW, can't back track points. I was more asking is there any time for the game to be played in the future.

Yea that's what I was getting at. What free slots are there. looks like will go ahead tonight, unless teams stopped from leaving hotels etc

yeah I suppose if it does get postponed then the re-arranged fixture would then give the two teams a DGW. It probably will go ahead at 6.30/7 though provided the cops get the situation under control and the teams/referee into the stadium. It would be a huge headache for the EPL if the police dont let it go ahead but reckon it will do.

Didn't Utd, ironically, play a game the day after the season finished a few seasons ago

I can’t only assume none of the protesters have captained fernando.

If the game doesn't get played in the next 24 hours, then I think the only rescheduling option possible would be to bring the Liverpool v West Brom game into this midweek or next (almost certainly would be next), therefore creating a DGW.

It wouldn't create a double for United, but it would fill their blank week.

Yea that's the GW I was thinking about - would make their assets more valuable - say Shaw and gamble maybe on Cavani

I own Shaw and Bruno, but IMO, its the Liverpool players who become more valuable in that scenario.

Ye thats the only option if it doesn't get played today or tomorrow. Liverpool West Brom a Dgw in 35 and then play Liverpool Utd in GW36.

Sorry i misread that about West Brom, thought was United, DGW for pool with a game in 36 would be huge for their players.

I've JWP as first sub with 10 points. Really hope the game gets bumped to a later gameweek so I can fluke it.

Same boat here. 5 players. Some annoyance. Rudiger on bench.
Neither of my keepers played on top of it. Balls

You would think PL would just say it's tomorrow, if they came with decision to postponed it.

Maybe the PL/police etc want this weekend to cool down and play in future weeks

This is a pain in the hole. I have lingard and capt kane left. Everyone else around me has lingard, son and kane. Directly lost out here.

Nothing that can be done though just have to suck it up. Very frustrating when there's money on the line!!!

Edit: and I've definitely lost he head to head now as the dead team had havertz VC to Salah. Mad!
