I think I've figured it out.
So drop me a PM and Ill do them 1 at a time.
I can take payment in paypal. How do people normally do it. Pay it monthly or 6 months etc. Last thing I want to be doing is chasing people for money

its 15 quid a month

so 15 *12= 180
dive this by the 6 of us at its 30 euros
Am I doing that correct?

Yes, I'm in a family here and it was 30 for the year.

Yeah you set it up and collect €30 from each member for the year up front. You then add them to it, make sure you get the address bit right at the start. Spotify then take the €15 every month from your account. You can cancel it any time so if the members don't pay again after 12 months just do that. RW was obviously doing this after a few months the arse.

Hi,

Starting April 30, 2021, we are increasing the price of Premium Family so we can continue to bring you new content and features that you can enjoy as a family and as individuals*.

The price of Premium Family will change from €14.99/month to €17.99/month. Since you’re already a Premium Family subscriber, we’re giving you one additional month at the current price**. This means the new price will become effective on your June billing date.

It’s not mid contract. The contract with Spotify is a rolling monthly contact. You just paid the organiser of your family upfront for the year

So what are family organisers doing about this increase, are ye asking your family members for the additional fee to cover the increase, I have three families on the go, two are up in Sept and one is up in December. I will definitely ask the ones that are up in Dec ok, I may just charge the Sept ones €40 for the year instead of €36 and I will cover the 4 months of the price increase.

I've worked it out and the cost will be €2.50 per person for the remainder of the year we all signed up for. And since one of those people who would owe me is myself and another is my OH so in total would be owed €10 and decided it's not worth the hassle to bother chasing up on it

The ironic thing here though is you are the one setting it up and you are getting stung for the extra, which is unfair.

Yeah but if I had paid for myself and the OH for the same period it would have cost €195 instead of the €75 that I'll be paying so I think that €120 saving is well worth the hassle. And like I said it's purely my laziness that is stopping me from getting the additional €10.
