From memory the premium or family plan takes precedence over the free plan so you shouldn't have to do anything.

Yes. I joined a 'family' last year and after about a month I was kicked from it. I had to get the main account holders address. Make sure the whole 'family' use the one address.

As far as I know everyone has input the same address as the account holder. I thought I saw mention in the thread before about clicking on the supplied link in the email but having location services turned off. I can't remember really though.

no matter what I did we couldn't get set up as a family, in the end I resorted to setting up emails with my own daughter's names, making up new email addresses and it still didn't work despite the fact we really all do live here

so I decided fcuk that and off I went to google play and it's pain-free everyone is happy out and all is working fine and no stress about getting bumped off
