"At the closing press conference, in response to a question about whether he could trust Putin, Bush said, "I looked the man in the eye. I found him very straightforward and trustworthy – I was able to get a sense of his soul."

Another American president using quasi religious terms when discussing international relations.

    Bizarre country.

And it's pretty clearly given the context that it's in reference to a lack of a conscience... It's pretty accepted to use it in such a context and does not necessarily mean a religious context. So as per usual making a big deal of nothing.

It's a pretty bizarre and inflammatory statement to make about another world leader.

Has Biden not heard of diplomacy?

Has Putin? He's broken international law on multiple occasions in the last few years. Including assassination attempts in the likes of the US. Plus election and referendum interference in multiple countries across the globe. I would say they're pretty weighted and necessary remarks. Flouting of international law brings consequences.

    America regularly does the same.

Biden has found vaccines to give to Mexico and Canada.

None going to Ireland. So much for being Irish.

    He’s helping their neighbours first.
    As it should be.

    Great to have leadership.
    America is back.

Eh, they're two of the nations that border them that could easily carry a mutated strain of the virus over the border...

Very disappointing especially after that cringe fest sucking up Paddy's Day rubbish. All for nothing.

America just ignored us after all that.

Shocking stuff altogether Hotmail, imagine looking after the two countries you share a land border with instead of a little rock 3000 miles away.

    Thoughts and prayers xxx

Yeah we should tell the Yanks to fcuk off and tell them that's it - no more shamrock or St Patrick's Day chats. Hopefully Martin rings Biden and tells him what a complete twat he is and that his country is a sh1thole.

He proclaimed to be an Irish president, told Martin yesterday America didn't stockpile vaccines.

Makes sense, I mean we are operating as part of Europe, he gives them to us, the rest will be looking for some also.

You know he’s the president of the USA, right?
    In North America.

And the virus mutating and crossing the border resulting in a vaccine resistant virus... Then he would be failing the US. You're obsessed with finding controversies where there are none. This is why most aren't taking you seriously.

I never said this is a controversy.

I'm sure if the pandemic happened during Obama's term and Obama gave extra vaccines to certain African countries the last thing that user would say would be "ah yeah that's fair enough, good idea".

Yes I agree there is no need to over dramatise every Biden comment. Some people just write stuff up.

You seem to be over dramatising the fact that Biden is prioritising public safety.... :pac:

You seemed to have over dramatised the fact that Biden gave surplus vaccines to USAs neighbours rather than a member of the EU block

In case anyone was wondering where certain posters here get their "videos".

"Since Biden was inaugurated, QAnon supporters have pushed false claims of supposed proof that Biden hasn't really been president & his activities as president haven't been real. This may be the first time those claims have in some manner really spread elsewhere in the far-right."
