Of course, that is not the opinion you would have if the Dow soared while Trump was president.

And don't forget, you wanted to prove that you're an independent thinker but you seem to have accidentally avoided answering my question about 5 or 6 times.

It's not opinion. It is fact.

I'm just telling you why people are buying assets. The economy is complicated.

You know why people are buying assets? And yet you also say that the economy is complicated? Are you aware that you are disagreeing with yourself?

Those two things can be true at the same time Aristotle.

Huh, I thought you said the economy was complicated.

Do you have an sources of these facts of yours?

And again, you seem to have ignored answering my question. Would you like for me to post it again for you?

Yes it is indeed tiresome. You claim you are an independent thinker but can't answer the question because you know it demonstrates the opposite.

Not even the first statement by itself is true.

Eh, that is not an answer. You said that the Dow is soaring because people are buying assets because they are worried about inflation. That is not the only reason the Dow can soar. What is your evidence that this is the reason the Dow is soaring?
Obama / Trump? I already answered.

No you have not answered my question. You must have accidentally read past it seven or eight times, how silly of you. Here, let me post it again for you.
The information about Obama's fewer drone strikes in his eight years and Trump's greater number of drone strikes in his first two years are both fully available.

And yet, it is quite clear that Obama's drone strikes bothered you by the label you gave him.

So, what is it even only about Trump's greater number of drone strikes in his first two years that we know the information about that makes you put aside the fact that you disapprove of drone strikes and allows you to see him as a better person?

People are buying assets because they are worried about inflation. That's what happens when you print piles of money and give it away.

This is not the first bailout.
I'm guessing you were equally concerned last year?

Despite not a single GOP member of congress voting in support of the Covid relief bill , it doesn't seem to be stopping them from trying to pretend like it was their idea with the constituents

    https://twitter.com/SenatorWicker/status/1369770036982915084

Even more awkwardly for this particular GOP senator , he explicitly opposed the bill because it "Destroy the Restaurant Industry"

Here is the paper. You are free to explain why you believe the methods used are flawed.

Edit: Jesus 12gauge dave someone is going a bit mad with their reregging. The absolute irony in Trumpists claiming election fraud and yet making lots of reregs to make it appear like more people are agreeing with them. :pac:

This thread is like the worst imaginable Twitter echo chamber. Full of groupthink, with no discernible difference between the various posters, all opinions safely received and regurgitated from orthodox lowbrow platforms

Hey Stefanovich, you "thanked" the above post and then you posted this...
You can arrive at the same conclusions as other people independently. Suggesting people are just repeated whatever they hear on Twitter because they are stupid or something is totally unfair.

    Seems a little inconsistent, no?

It's not in reference to you, it's in reference to the people who have thanked your post. Have a quick look at how old their accounts are.

Also, you are still free to point out the flaws in the study.

They must have used a name generator, how would anyone ever remember those usernames :D

That is very odd behavior, but not one that I have any clue as to who or why they are doing that.

I'm outspoken enough, I dont need a silent "thanks army" :D:D:D

WRT the paper I've skim read it and it doesnt seem to make any assertation about cause - merely correlation between the datapoints
" A Bayesian negative binomial model was fit to estimate daily RRs and posterior intervals (PIs) comparing rates by gubernatorial party affiliation. The analyses adjusted for state population density, rurality, Census region, age, race, ethnicity, poverty, number of physicians, obesity, cardiovascular disease, asthma, smoking, and presidential voting in 2020."

Don't worry we know it's not you. We just feel bad that there is someone who spends their free time with multiple browsers open thanking posts instead of, you know, having a hobby or something. Or even just posting their opinions for us to discuss. Bless.

There wouldn't be as it's an observational study. However, it is also a longitudinal study so it is more valid for examining cause-and-effect than simply a cross-sectional study.

Biden signs the American Rescue Plan, a day early:

“This historic legislation is about rebuilding the backbone of this country and giving the people of this nation, working people, the middle class folks, people who built the country a fighting chance,” Biden.

so a rising stock market is a bad thing?
A rising stock market is great, but a rising stock market that is lower than the rate of inflation is bad or a rising stock market based on a bubble is horrible.

Instead of pretending to be angry, you could, you know, tell us what part of the plan you disagree with, why you disagree with it and how you would change that part.

Bullsh1t. Trump already ballooned the deficit and that was before Covid. In fact, if Covid hadn't happened, it would still have been the biggest deficit since WW2.

You should be down on your bended knees praying to whatever gods tickle your fancy that it's not too late for Biden to reverse the carnage that Trump inflicted on American and global climate change policies. If your grandchild is very lucky, they then might have a future planet on which they can actually live and breathe.

is that what is happening now?
