Game week 28 transfer thread

Toying with the idea of getting Jota in, he finally looks match fit and should have scored twice tonight. Liverpool in awful form in the PL but have a hunch he will get returns against his old team Wolves

Did salah to bale and cancelo to cresswell. Have a fortune in my bank now to splash out for next week to get 2 more players with doubles.

Auba and another striker of some sort

Was just looking at Citys fixtures and its starting to get pretty clogged. Between now and the 13th of April they have three CL games (assuming they get past Monchengladbach) and an FA Cup quarter final v Everton plus the Coca Cola Cup Final v Spurs

Wondering might now be the time to get off Gundogan? I own KdB and Dias so would still have City cover. But with their 5 non PL fixtures Im thinking Gundogan is likely to only play two or max three of their 5 PL fixtures during that period. Whereas someone like Jesse Lingard will play every game if he is fit (excepting United this weekend)

If things were clearer on Grealish it would make moving away from Gundogan easier. But either way owners of Gundogan and deBruyne might only see them start 2 or 3 times over the next 5 PL games. Another midfielder elsewhere on good form and who is starting all 5 games over this period is likely to out point them. I think for those who own both KdB and Gundogan out of 10 potential starts we're looking at somewhere between 4 and 6 actual starts due to the 3 CL games, 1 FA Cup and the Milk Cup Final.

The players on the bench are fine but the worry would be at least 1 of the 3 City not starting and then last week Tuchel didnt play either Rudiger or Mount. If Tuchel did that again then he and Pep would basically trash your BB chip. I own both Rudiger and Mount and am nervous of what will happen this weekend, if either dont start then I'll have to get rid which is frustrating as they looked to be nailed on starters up until last weekend.

Theres a chance those two Villa players have a DGW coming up in 30, if it is announced then the two teams they face in 30 are Fulham and Everton. Provided its announced then bench boosting that weekend would give you six possible starts over four possible starts this weekend. No guarantees that would work out better but just something to bear in mind, Villa v Everton has to get rescheduled at some stage.

So at 5.1 or below who would you say is the most nailed to play 3 games in 28 and 30 if Everton had a hypothetical DGW

Yeah good points thanks. One of things pushing me to do it is that the WBA fixtures turn after Palace for Johnstone and Pereira. But I can just can get rid of Pereira down the line I guess or even this week and keep Lingard. Just re: Mount, he's suspended for the CL game so would be shocked if he didn't start vs Leeds.

Didnt know that about Mount, some good news and especially a fixture v Leeds where there will be lots of space in behind.

Still trying to decide whether to do Gundogan to Jota, my heart says yes but the head says leave it be for a week

Salah to Bale was done last night. Unless there's something out the blue I won't take any hits.

Salah to Son for probably my most obvious transfer of the season.

Been loyal to Mo for waaaaaaay too long now :-(

Basing it on Pep being Pep, and the Champions League being a factor at this stage.

Risky as Sterling likely to start after being rested in midweek.
Also I think people transferring Salah and Cancelo out could regret it.

Went Salah and DCL to Bale and Kane. They're in better form and have a game next week

I have done this transfer. Purely coz i feel its last chance to get him in and be worth it. Gives more captain options for me coz Sterling never stands out and theres too many he can be rotated against. Its a risk but want him at home to Leeds in 31 over Sterling.

Yes they are in good form but a derby against Arsenal while you've a Liverpool team who showed some spark on Wednesday night. And Burnley aren't exactly setting the world on fire.

That's may be similar to a move I'm going to make next week. But I've got every call wrong so far this season so don't listen to me! Haha!

I would have, at least the Kane part, but if DCL dropped another 0.1 and Kane rose, I couldn't afford it anymore then so bit the bullet.
