Wales are +7 against England, 12/5 available for the win. Tempting!

    Ireland -21 away to Italy
    England -6 away to Wales
    France -12 home to Scotland

    They all feel about right.

I reckon all the underdogs cover them, Italy is the one I'd be most concerned about.

Dragons +25 at home to Leinster feels like good value. Dragons have only failed to cover those points once this year and that was in the reverse fixture against a mostly first choice lineup.

    For the weekend

    dragons +25 @ evens

all provinces to win @ 17/10

    folau faingaa 1st @ 15/2
folau faingaa any time @ 5/6

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,433 ✭✭✭✭thomond2006

Leinster's starting pack scares me so I'm staying away from +25.

its down to 23 now, and i do think with whitehouse there he tends to crucify a team with a large lead going it the last quarter.

there was value in that +25 in my opinion, though i hate betting against leinster meeting the spread

forecast is for a wet and windy newport as well

Took the PP special of a provincial clean sweep at 17/10. If all goes well this evening I might look at hedging with Cardiff tomorrow, Connacht have burned me a few times this season.

    I doubt it.
You would probably be better off backing Italy at a handicap if you think Ireland will struggle.
Italy +12 @ 21/10 or something similar to that

    France -2 @10/11

Take Italy with the points if you think they'll do well. I can see Ireland struggling to a 15-20 point win but there's no chance of them losing bar some craziness. Italy are going to concede 30+, it's a question of whether they can put points on the board themselves.

yeah if you want those odds , id be looking at a bet builder acca to give something similar.
wait till the teams are named and see what extra books are open.

for example you may get 14/1 if you bet on Italy to score 0.5 tries in each half AND italy say +12

    what's a 0.5 try ??

If you bet on 0.5 tries you are betting if there will be one or more tries scored by team/player/in that game

essentially its to score at least 1 try in each half..

its presented as, say, 1.5 or 2.5 so that theres no confusion

for example, over 2.5 trys means 3 or more trys.

so italy to score a try each half would be a safer bet you think?

Wouldn't call it a safe bet but definitely a much better chance then them winning.

Yeah but you won't bet anything close to 14/1 on that

Took a Munster/Connacht/Ulster to win treble before the lines moved. Got it at 0.9/1.

    ireland +21 @ evens
    larmour anytime @ 13/2

    ash dixon 1st @ 20/1
    ash dixon anytime @ 11/4

yeah i took it at those odds after the ireland game.

id be surprised if its forfeited... if it requires a game in autumn so be it, theres history for doing that already

Small stake on Glasgow +19. Feels a few points too high but I hate taking the opponent's points in the RDS.
