    Jesus, Lady Gaga fairly butchered the Anthem. Biden's speech was rather uninspiring but that was to be expected, or maybe that was just down to his delivery.

    Also strange that those who say "All lives matter" seem to forget that asylum seekers and immigrants are "lives" too. But what can you do.
    While we are on the topic of Black Lives Matter, The President did say in his speech that White supremacy would be targeted in his time in office, hopefully the activists keep him in check with that promise so we don't come back to this in 4 years time. Like with the fact that 1st of January 2021 didn't make Corona Virus disappear overnight I doubt cops will stop firing at black people starting now.
    Trump out, Biden in was a massive step in the right direction but it's not the final destination.

    This too shall pass.

    It was full of mawkish rhetoric and platitudes. It was designed to be precisely like that because Trump's was never like that.

    1994 was a much different time to now, a lot has changed, including the man The President is.
    But you actually enhance my point. If Joe Biden played a part in Black oppression in the past, then it's up to activists and his VP to highlight this and to pressure him to put it right.
    If Trump cared about those black people you highlight he could have pardoned them.

    That was a fairly bipartisan view back then. It's why crowds like BLM and Biden himself are trying to fix that kind of stuff. I'm glad to see your concern for the blacks by the way.
